This team is never going to achieve up to it's potential without wholesale changes in leadership. The whole damn organization needs a cultural change. Has desperately needed it since 2008.

This is what happens when you assemble a team with as little attitude as possible...
Our faults are mental...Pierce brought gritty n toughness
Even ariza brought a tough defensive presence...
Oubre is literally the only guy on the team that can rile these guys up and it's simply cause he's a rookie and they get excited seeing him do good...
When things get tough down the stretch, we have no one to rile the guys up, whittman isn't that type of coach....nene doesn't care half the time...
This is one of okc problems as bad as perkins was he kept those guys head in the game ...this is Chicago problem without noah...
We lose alot of games down the stretch cause that's whenot it's time to grind it out...and we don't seem to have courage in those situations...
Basketball is mental as much as anything.....
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

Injuries and no "heart"? I think the roster is flawed and the coach can't inspire them. Plus there is no question that defensively we have regressed in ways none of us expected. That's on the coach-

If the wiz lose those games they once again prove they don't deserve to be in playoffs.

That's the word..heart....
We're playing with no heart down the stretches of games...we don't have the presence of an enforcer...we don't have dirty players...we barely talk trash....
Its on whittman defensively because of the rotations but it's also on our personel because of our confidence...

This why I strive for oubre to play because he makes mistakes but he plays with alot of confidence and the team vibes well of that whether he's productive or not...
Wall said it before the season about him...
This why I'm not really a fan of gortat this season because he's not bringing that Polish hammer mentality to the team anymore he's playing soft...and that subconsciously rubs off on our team..
I think morris was a great pickup but he has to be unleashed...let him be a leader, tell him to be vocal.

We're not holding each other accountable nor are we giving each other enough support and praise...We're barely having fun, don't we even throw alley oops????
But thats what happens when you lose a guy like pierce I guess and to top it off, have a coach that's literally the worse coach in the league
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!

How is Pierce doing this year vs. last year? Last I checked he had fallen off a cliff.

With the decline of Nene we have replaced him in the lineup with Otto and that other guy who shoots threes and is a "veteran presence" but can't play defense nearly as well as Nene did.

Otto is doing great but he still has a lot of veteran seasoning ahead of him.
I've been taught all my life to value service to the weak and powerless.
