We were demolished and we totally deserved it. Hats off to Dortmund. I can understand the weakened selection this time (as opposed to the Fiorentina debacle last season) since we have a small chance at the title, but if we collapse and miss out on a CL place, it will look pretty terrible.

Resting players for a match against Aston Villa is a poor excuse for the cowardice Tottenham displayed with their team-selection. BVB probably would have advanced even if spurs had played their A-team; but there was no good reason for them to have just rolled over before the tie even started.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

I predicted it before the Europa League started and everything still points to Borussia Dortmund winning it.

What else would you call that starting 11?

I find it hard to believe you are being serious.

Half serious. I was very disappointed Poch didn't give his best against Tuchel's boys. Would've been a really fun tie between two of the best coaches in the world; both of who's star is still rising.

Yeah, I was disappointed that we didn't get to see a full strength match. Maybe fate will let bring us together again in the CL next year.

Aduriz is like a fine wine. Keeps getting better and better the older he becomes.

The difference between spanish football and german football is like day and night. Villareal is not even the best top 5 team is spain but the way they beat leverkusen was so so easy. It seems they didnt even try their best today still could end like 0-3.

Don't mean to be a contrarian, but Villarreal are easily a top 4 side behind the big 3 in Spain (and currently sit in fourth). Marcelino has them playing exceptional football.

Barcelona, real, atletico, sevilla top 4.

Bilbao/Villareal is top 5. I have bilbao up there for me due to Basque players only issue etc.

Math doesn't seem to be your biggest strength. No surprise they beat an injury riddled Leverkusen team really.
