Did you pick Yale and Little Rock?

Yessir. I also picked Fresno, but Utah beat them :(
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Poeltl's skill set for a big man is outstanding. We have no need for him but I believe he is a top 3 prospect in this draft.

We could use an upgrade at center, Len isn't exactly setting the world on fire could use some competition. I don't think Poetl will end up being that much better as a pro

No thanks to Poeltl (but if he turns out to be the 3rd best player you pick him 3rd).

I feel bad for USC. They blew that bad. But I do want to see more of Dunn and Bentil. I didn't watch much of this game but I keep reading how people love Dunn and then I look at box scores and know he's 22 and older than some of our players already and I'm never impressed by the #s. I do see he hit 4 3's tonight which is something I hadn't seen but he was still 5-13 from the field (so I guess 1-8 from 2 pt range) with 4 assists and 4 rebounds.

I mean if this guy is really the best we can do with our first pick we need to trade it. That goes for Murray too and probably Brown. I think we can get more value in trade than what these guys will provide.

USC lost a heartbreaker but I'd take that 10/10 times over getting the Jared Fogle prison experience done to you by an 11-seed.

We're the youtube generation, if there's a good 2 minute video, there's someone on a message board wanting to draft him.

Not me. A heartbreaker like that would last with me for some time. I knew 5 minutes into that game that Wichita St was going to beat UA...too much tourney experience for them and lack of it for Arizona. That loss will be good for everyone on the team who is in the tourney next year, because they will know you better bring it.

We should follow the Kings MO and crowdsource scouting to a bunch of amateur analytics geeks. Sarver needs to emulate Ranadive

Some Mocks say we take Deyonta Davis with the Washington pick. I only watched some youtube videos of him. Can someone please say somethin about him? What are his strenghts and who could you campare to him? Would be nice. Thank you :)

I Think it is good to take Brown with our first pick and a PF with the WAS pick.

If you watch the tourney, you should be able to see plenty of him (and Valentine who some are calling a point forward who is like Draymond Green but would be more of a smaller small forward who can rebound, pass and score).

As far as Davis, I like him and Chriss because they are both athletic, block shots, and can shoot. Davis more from midrange and Chriss has a little more range.

I'm thinking these guys could be in the Ibaka mold to some extent.

8. Deyonta Davis

Draft stock: No. 10-15
Michigan State
Freshman
Forward

First game: No. 2 Michigan State vs. No. 15 Middle Tennessee on Friday, March 18

Davis is an intriguing upside pick. He's long, athletic and a terrific shot blocker with an emerging midrange game. He's not asked to carry the team for Michigan State offensively, but his huge block at the end of the game against Maryland shows how critical he has been to Michigan State's success.

He's on a likely Final Four team, so scouts should be able to get plenty of good looks at him.

Brown with a subpar game so far, although I thought that his 3rd foul (offensive was bs).
Rabb doing OK, but neither is blowing me away so far... Might check on Michigan St a bit later.

Yeah, Brown with 4 pts, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 7 turnovers and 5 fouls to foul out in a losing effort against 13th seeded Hawaii? I can't imagine how he would look against the Spurs.

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=400871271

The Michigan St guys looking good so far though. In the second half and Valentine with 8 pts (2 3s), 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals and Deyonta Davis with 10 pts, 3 rebounds and a block.

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=400871286

Marquese Chriss' 27 pts and 11 boards the most impressive postseason game so far of PFs we may be looking at.

The more I watch Jaylen Brown play, I just don't understand why he is mocked so high in a lot of the drafts.
