If Mcbob stays healthy and get minutes, I ain't woorid about trading him. He showed he's a legit rotation player on a contender when given minutes, he's on a cheap deal. Just needs to stay healthy, teams will have a ton of free cap space and no one to spend on this summer. We might even get a small asset back for him (second rounder/disappointing rookie).

Pretty much. He's gone the second somebody is willing to take him. Regardless of how well he plays we need that cap space flexibility. We tried like hell to dump him this past trade deadline. Didn't have the assets required though.

Sad thing is that if we had dumped him before the season started like I wanted to we probably could've gotten a 2nd rounder for him... now though we're going to have to give up assets and essentially pay someone to take him away.

Nobody was going to give us anything for McBob this past summer with 3 years left in his contract, coming off a mediocre season and from a bad injury. Same reason why there was no interest in him before the trade deadline. Unless McBob starts balling consistently, we will have to pay to get him off our books.

Yeah they were. For the life of me I can't remember who tweeted it but the reporter suggested that teams should reach out Miami and see if they can steal McBob away for a 2nd rounder.

Now obviously this isn't anything concrete but it was the perception. Before the season started McBob was seen as a solid bench big who got hurt. Now though the entire league knows that he's McSob.

Anything is possible I guess but Miami couldn't even get out of Mario Chalmers 4mil contract this past summer. Same with Bird's expiring.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

And boy do they need them. I coached (baseball) for 10 years and it was always a battle to teach to kids what to embrace.

Easier to follow a bratty and outspoken, yet talented player like Harper, than to emulate someone like the more humble Mike Trout.

I gotcha.

I teach my son be more like Wade & less like Lebron James. He knows what's up!

Official HEAT 2015-16 Regular Season Thread - Vol. II

Post#954 » by 3ballbomber » Fri Mar 18, 2016 4:53 am

To the cats i was chatting w/ about the 100 shot drill. I did 3 attempts today & failed all 3 lol.

- 1st try only drained 51
- 2nd try 50
- 3rd time 60

I felt i got more into a good rhythm by the 3rd attempt. I felt if i had 2 more goes i would be close......but this old mans body gave in.

Just a pointer - Get in good form first & into a nice rhythm before doing your 100 shots.

Also i wasn't sure wether i could shoot from the same spot of the arc so i shot what ever direction the ball bounced. I understand we all have our sweet spot. Not sure details of rules. I also had no spotter to pass me the ball.

Here's abit of me in action, as well as my son.

So ... Is there still somebody who thinks we can get a top 3 seed? Or that we can move past 2nd round in playoffs?

Like it's been for the past x amount of years...without a healthy Wade, the answer is no. Last night was evidence of this...

Yeah, I'm here. The eastern conference has been in flux all year, and regular season results against individual teams don't really matter. The playoffs are a different animal, where adjustments can be made on a game to game basis, no back to backs. When this team engages itself on both ends of the floor (which you and I have both seen, even against the better teams), they have more talent than anyone else in the east aside of Cleveland. Last night was an upsetting loss, but it's not indicative of anything. I'm a tad concerned about Wade though....

Without Bosh I think is the more appropriate answer. A healthy Wade at this stage is some kind of unicorn.

Wade is not healthy. That's what I saw. I also saw Spo make a bone head move by not having one of our hottest 3 point shooters on the floor for the final possesion. At the very least, someone else for Charlotte to worry about.
