Is the latest COD any good? I heard it lacks a story mode like the Starwars Battlefront game? Uncharted 4 should be good

Completely false. There's a story mode and zombie story mode clone of it as well but it lacks...fulfillment. But the zombies mode and online multiplayer are the winners of the game. This is the best cod I've played in a long time. It's totally worth whatever price it is now. It has it's flaws though, of course. But none that would make you want to quit the game. I thought you could demo the game, but I guess not. Redbox it first if you can.

I should give it a try then. I was kinda surprised when i found out Battlefront had no story mode. The only thing that i keep coming back to in that game is the X-wing vs Tie fighter air battles.

I was all for buying it until I heard it's basically cod with nothing else but multiplayer...for $70. Noped my way outta that real quick.

Not a political game, but I am a recovered Civilization addict. 20000 plus hours I'm sure. Played Tropico too...

Football Manager was my thing too for many, many years. If I could find a *great* basketball management game, I'd be pretty happy. I have tried a couple.

This one doesn't take player position much into account and there are no personalities to the players:

https://basketball-gm.com/

I tried the 2015 version of the next one and only managed to put 30 hours into it before giving up in frustration. Now (in 2016) there are at least shooting fouls, but I seriously doubt they'll get all the exceptions correct, etc. I think I may wait one more year, but it is only $10 to play the NBA league. You can design plays etc in micro detail but damn it's hard to make a difference. I feel like I'm being played rather than the other way around.

Really don't want to sound like an arrogant PC gamer a-hole (although I kind of am one), but no. NBA 2k16 is a nice enough game (although Spike Lee's MyPlayer kind of sucks), but the GM mode doesn't even come close to the pure tactical bliss that is FM. I've wasted literally hundreds of hours playing the series since my first game back in 99, back then it was called Championship Manager 3.

It has no "GM"ness, as in AI to reflect making the other teams better. The GMs don't appear to act in their teams' self interest. If you have ever played Football Manager, you'll know what I mean. It's like the entire league is against you, but you can still figure out how to win by playing moneyball tactics.

For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Similar to me, Football manager was my thing 30 years ago. Nowadays Civ 5 and Europa Universalis 4 with a few strategy rpgs.

Tried most of the basketball management games and 1 stands out head and shoulders above the others:

draft day sports. http://www.wolverinestudios.com/games/

I love the pro version but with your knowledge you may prefer college basketball.
