Lamb was under the basket twice and along with Cody, neither did much to box out Dwight who go several and1 opportunities. Lamb's man was no where near the basket though. Lamb was basically standing around looking confused.

we need lamb back. unless he's hurt, he should be getting minutes. we should be done with testing out new rotations by now.

Lamb, Lin, and Al are all high usage, low efficiency scorers, Lamb and Lin especially since the ASB. I honestly don't think the Lamb vs. Daniels debate matters because at the end of the day neither is going to see more than token minutes. I think Lee and Batum get the lion's share of the wing minutes and one of Lamb or Daniels gets only 5 - 10 minutes. Neither would play at all if MKG were healthy.

I don't think current rotation for Daniels is a fixture all along... Clifford is testing out combinations, now is probably a perfect time, you are going to see lamb back to the rotation soon...

Opponents shoot their lowest FG% when Lamb is the court. Lol

Also we're allowing the 2nd least amount of PPG to opponents with Lamb on the floor only behind MKG.

TTM Yosemite.

thats why stats are misleading sometimes, its like when Al had the teams best defensive rating and Biz had the best offensive rating a couple seasons ago. anyone that watches the team knows lamb is a bad defender.

Sample size and context. He plays low minutes exclusively against second units.

Aren't you the guy that just said that advanced stats skew results?

Wish we had a better alternative than either Lamb or Daniels to be honest

NBA.com stats didn't have Al as the best defensive and Biz with the best offensive rating. Their stats be legit.

Lamb has a big enough sample size on the season to form a conclusion. Stop that Yosemite.

Lamb has been solid. Prolly the best bench wing we've had in the several years I watched this team. He has a plus net rating on both sides and above average efficiency ratings. He's not a liability and even if he is he hasn't been against these "2nd units" Yosemite like to bring up. Bench players play 2nd units so at least give him the kudos for outplaying other 2nd units. Stop that LP.

I get people question Lamb's defense, but I don't get Daniel is the solution. I feel Daniel is even worse defensively than Lamb somehow. Am I the only one feel that way?

I'm just getting a kick out of the fact that the guy that earlier today tried to use "advanced stats are misleading" as an argument is now relying entirely on advanced stats in arguing for more for more PT for one of his UConn guys.

ETA: And comparing net ratings or talking about how opposing teams as a whole shoot during on court time for a 30 MPG player vs. a 15 MPG player is apples and oranges. When I talk about sample size, I mean he doesn't play enough minutes per game to compare to other rotation players who play more and against first units. Take away MKG, and notice who has our lowest DRTG - Lamb, Hawes, Lin, Kaminsky, Al.

I feel like Cliff's problem with Lamb is that he regularly makes mistakes rather than D in general.

I wish we'd unloaded our entire MLE on Joe Johnson, who's doing very good things for Miami. He'd be a load off the bench.

Don't quote me as saying "advanced stats are misleading" because I said no such thing. You misconstrued my comment and took offense as you always do because you're sensitive. I never said "advanced stats are misleading in a previous post. Stop that Yosemite. You're a mod. You gotta do better. I said skew and I wasn't saying it in a negative light if you paid attention.

Daniels is much worse than Lamb defensively and the stats as well as results support it just like how PJ was a much worse defender but I guess they like the fact that it look like Daniels is TRYING hard to no avail.

Also our offensive rating is down with Daniels on the floor because even though he's efficient he's very one dimensional as a one trick pony which makes him easy to defend when a team knows their scouting report and we basically get nothing from his minutes on the floor but negative net.

Did Cliff ever say why he's playing Troy instead of Lamb? Maybe it has nothing to do with offence/defense results? Lamb is more talented between the two but he often looked lost, lazy, careless or stoned. Daniels OTOH may have limited skills outside of shooting but is more focused and giving his best effort.
