it seems like bleacher report, and ESPN is entrinched with former golden state warrior beat writers or guys who use to closely follow the team. They hate the Rockets..
And they seem to hate Harden because when Harden first got to Houston, he was getting more love around the league than stephanie.. i mean steph
it seems like if harden scores 45 points gets 9 assists and a 7 rebounds and the rockets win the media will pick out 1 stinkin highlight in that game where harden had a lapse lol.. its really starting to piss me off as a rockets fan.. and the weird part is whenever i upload videos that clown steph curry's defense on youtube, the videos get flagged within 3 days and taken down by curry and lin fanboys

It's not a lapse if it occurs regularly. Go back to the Damien Lillard shot when Harden just stood and watched. Lillard came off a staggered screen, and since Harden was closer to the inbounder he should have been the one to chase. Instead Parsons got separated by the screens and Lillard came free.

i have plenty of footage of steph snoozing on defense when he was with marc jackson, why not let harden play under a new coach and see how he responds, it seems the media knows Harden is legit, but they needs to say something to keep him off curry playing field.... Harden is one year younger, who's to say under a new coach next year, Harden does hit his prime and play like Curry is now

Like many around here I am hoping for one of JVG or Thibs to be the next coach of the Rockets. We've seen multiple accounts of Harden talking to those guys (recently before the Chicago game), so I'm hoping that he's on a recruiting mission. He has to know that either of them will hammer him on his defensive effort and I think that he may actually be looking for that. We've seen that he can play defense when he's motivated.

Well, it's really not broadcast worthy. Not when the record is 11 steals/game. Hell, Fat Lever once had 8 steals in a quarter.
Great stats, poor record. There's been a ton of players getting less rep than they should because of that. I think winning changes these things. The more he wins and the better he can lead his team, the more coverage he will get.

Harden led the nba in win shares, and was robbed of mvp... nothing harden will do will get him mvp over the golden calf of bristol

The Warriors are the defending champions and on their way to a possible record-breaking regular season. Meanwhile, the Rockets are struggling in all aspects of the game and are currently out of the playoffs.
I don't fault ESPN if they focus more on Golden State rather than what is happening in Houston.
The Rockets may never be national media darlings, but as long as they are playing the way that they are playing then I don't see much reason to complain about coverage. If they go on a strong run to end the season and make some noise in the playoffs then you will start seeing some more positive coverage.
