Really happy for Stanley, maybe now we can trade him straight up for a shooter like Morrow or Marcus Thornton
Cause you know, defense is for losers...

The development of Stanley, KCP and Harris as facilitators is a fantastic development for the team now and in the future. Morris also fits into this, and I'm liking Bullock a lot as a guy who both knocks down shots and who plays strong on D and on the boards. Hilliard is another guy who, if he gets minutes, will be a strong all-around offensive guard, and yet another facilitator on offense. This give us a lot of interchangeable guys on D (VERY valuable, btw), and a lot of offensive versatility, ball-movers and scorers on O to surround Drummond and Jackson and Baynes.
Baynes is turning into the best backup C in the league - an absolutely terrific signing. I love watching him destroy guys with picks.

KCP's poise and playmaking was really shown this game. This might have been one of his overall better games despite the poor 3 point %. Just goes to show, he balls out in so many other ways that it's a positive when he's on the court. Also, both him and SJ were our best playmakers tonight.

Agreed. I don't care or I am completely neglecting in my argument, that he plays with the passion and intensity of two men and becomes a force like a mini ben Wallace on the defensive end of the floor, always defends the opposing teams best gaurd, when he is hitting his shots is basically a superstar, and is only 23 years old.ComboGuardCity wrote:DBC10 wrote:KCP's poise and playmaking was really shown this game. What I am saying is that at his age he will never improve like countless others have in the NBA and we should trade him now for some nondescript shooter who plays marginal defense and only impact comes when he shoots the ball.
It makes perfect sense and I will never understand why people don't agree with me on this point.

We should in fact trade him for... Rodney Stuckey! You'll get the same player but with veteran leadership and playoff experience!

KCP is our energy. He's always there running up and down the court and having fun. When Drummond doesn't show up, KCP is always there to pump the rest of the players up. I actually really like him. He's better than Terrence Ross. I think he's got a good shot and it's good enough to win with. His value shows in the Playoffs. He's priceless and if we make the Playoffs, he might get paid MAD in the offseason
Defense wins championships

Ha. No. Without even thinking about it I could name 5 better - Biyombo, Stoudemire, Nene, Bogut/Ezeli, Kanter

I'll give you Bogut/Ezeli and Kanter for sure. Biyombo/Nene are similar level, so I can understand that.
Stoudemire is questionable. dude averaged like 1 point and 1 board a game before he started
Instead I would have mentioned guys like Koufos and Len.

KCP ran the PnR better than RJ this game and in fact it seemed as if we went to KCP as the 2ndary offensive option as oppose to harris.
One particular play KCP got a screen at the FT from Tolliver , who Picked and Popped, KCP got held up by the helpside and i thought he was going to kick it out to AT for a relatively open 3 , he no looked it to baynes rolling to the rim. He faked me and the camera man out

He never really played a bunch the first couple of months either....he was sitting out for the "big games". Biyombo has been pretty damn good this year...he just had I believe a 17/25 game last week in Indiana. Totally forgot about Len...yeah him too!

Isn't Len starting for the Suns? It wasn't long ago he was...and putting up huge numbers.

I didn't know between him and Chandler, I think Len got moved into the starting lineup when they traded Morris

Nene is horrible. Kanter and Ezeli yes. Biyombo before the last week was in the same level, but he has been beasting lately.
