The bench has been awful, their attempts at running offense has been embarassing
Cole didn't need to go foul there, it's Kendrick Perkins, come on.

We're now losing to a Pelicans team without Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon?! Way to compete there, Doc.

We aren't playing NBA basketball. Even when Blake comes back, we have a long way to go. We can only play D for about 10 minutes per game and do not have the skill to simply outscore the opposition which shows when our bench unit is on the floor. I'm sick of being only a jump shooting team since half our roster are shooting poorly.

Really Bad Game
Clippers are 43-26. They fell right into the Pelicans trap: lack of superstars, a who's-he in Tim Frazier, and a sense of entitlement all around. Just a bad loss.
Clippers and Warriors will each have something on the line this Wednesday. The Warriors are coming off a loss to the San Antonio Spurs at home, and are looking to protect The Oracle from a home loss to a road team. The Clippers will be looking for a win at the Dub's home floor to prevent their third 3-game losing streak of the season, but the first without Blake Griffin. More importantly, their record is on the line (56-26 last year), and so is their fate of home court advantage in the playofs.
If the Clippers can defeat the Warriors at their home turf, they will lock in as the 4th seed and get home court advantage in their 2013 playoff rematch against the Memphis Grizzlies.
If the Clippers lose to the Warriors, they will automatically become the 5th seed and be a road playoff team for the duration of the playoffs. It will also serve as an admittance to the fact they miss Blake Griffin dearly.
But I can feel it in my gut that the Clippers will win against the Warriors. They're gonna do everything to prevent a 3-game losing streak, because that's who they are. Third time's a charm for the Clippers.

The Clippers hate the regular-season -- Doc teams always do.
Clippers fans need to stop pulling their hair out every time we lose a game -- for better or for worse, this team thinks they'll flip the switch in the post-season...all we can do is wait see.

We say this every year. Then, like clockwork, this team chokes and loses in the first or second round every year. This team is not good enough to "flip a switch." They are who they are: a mediocre team with a terrible coach/GM, a so-called "Big Three" with one injured player and two overrated players, and zero depth, youth or variance. This team doesn't play a lick of defense, is soft on the boards, and thinks they're the Warriors despite laying brick after brick.
The loyal, long-suffering fans of this franchise deserve better than this bull product.

The defense has taken a decent tumble recently, March has been a bad month for this team in many ways. I'm neither a Doc apologist or someone that blames him for everything, but his lineup choices have not helped.
Oh please, first of all relying on flipping a switch is stupid, we don't have Shaq or something on this team. Secondly, that's just dumb, if you can't play consistently in the regular season, you won't magically play consistently in the post-season, it's foolish to think so.DLaren wrote:Wammy Giveaway wrote:But I can feel it in my gut that the Clippers will win against the Warriors. I didn't make OG mad. I read his reply, and he has a point: the Clippers don't have that special kind of player who can bring them out of the gutter. The only reason I believe in the Clippers avoiding 3-game losing streaks is because they seem to give their absolute best only after having losing two games in a row. Remember the stretch that had Spurs, Rockets and Thunder in mid-December? Clippers had lost to the Spurs and Rockets at their home floors. In the Thunder game, a Clipper home game, the Clippers were evidently playing really hard to avoid the inevitable - Cole Aldrich was given playing time (and Doc has since used him often) - until Kevin Durant made that lucky 3-point shot in the closing seconds of the 4th quarter to give OKC the lead (by a point) and the Clippers their second 3-game losing streak of the season.
When Doc took over the Clippers in the 2013-14 season, they avoided 3-game losing streak situations very well, and got a 57-25 record for it. Last season was their first 3-game losing streak under Doc Rivers, and this season, they've had two. They've yet to lose 3-in-a-row without Blake Griffin in the lineup. Winning the Warriors game this Wednesday without Blake Griffin to prevent a 3-game losing streak could be big for them.

Re: Game 69: Los Angeles (43-25) @ New Orleans (23-45)
I am now on the got to get rid of doc train. I have tried to avoid that for sometime but the last two nights have been a deal killer for me. here is my point. jj got I believe two shots in the second half when he was making everything, really!! plus this, on the last play he tries to get jamal the last shot 3 when he has not made one all night. he passes to Austin of all people and he takes the last shot when jj is standing next to him. I am sorry folks but that is not even aau coaching. for a moment I thought we were tanking to get a lower seed so we could play someone besides Memphis. the last 2 guys dj has guarded have had great nights. come on doc surely you can do better than this.
