Time to pay attention to the lottery prospects...

I don't know about that... He was playing through the injury for a while (dating to pre all-star break)... only sitting now because it went from manageable to experiencing "really sharp pains."

The team should employ a gynecologist.

From today's O-Sen:
When the trade was made, Skiles guessed the Magic would have to post at least an 18-12 record over their final 30 games to have a chance to reach the postseason.

After their 4-7 start to their post-All-Star schedule, the Magic would have to go at least 14-5 from this point onward, which seems highly unlikely.

Its about that time of the year when lotto teams take the training wheels off their young guys. Hopefully we can see Mario and AG get more involved.

... with center Nikola Vucevic and point guard Elfrid Payton continuing to sit out with injuries ...

The tank might be at full steam. The Magic has a 4-game road against 4 teams all of whom could make the playoffs. To do this without 2 or Orlando's 3 best players, I expect a losing sweep. At that point the Magic is about 8 games out of the playoffs.

People seem to think "tanking" means the players are losing on purpose, that just never happens. Tanking means building a bad team before the season that is not capable of winning, like the sixers do every season OR not playing your good players when it is clear the season is a lost cause. Whether we are tanking or not depends on whether they are being overly cautious about the Vooch injury or not, we are clearly not a good team without him and keeping him out for more games than necessary is a tanking move. Sorta the same with Payton, but i dunno what is up with him. We don't really know what is going on with the front office, so it is hard to tell.

No we are just run by people that know nothing about basketball. Need proof? Look at that amazing 5 min for Hezonja, 18 min for Gordon who was replaced by 4-13 Ilyasova and 9 min 6 fouls Smith.

In mean time, on 29-40 team , who is out of playoff picture for solid 3 weeks now, Oladipo is averaging 40 mpg last 4 games. Trying to get him injuried is only logical explanation for that.

And ofc how about some other coaching decisions that look like shizofrenia under Skiles. Watson avearged 28 mpg in last 6 games- DNPed now, Jennings who we though was on min restriction got 30 min tonight for being horrible as always.

But hey, let's waste last 13 games of season to showcase contract warriors Jennings, Smith and Nicholson so somebody else can sign them, it's not like Hezonja could actually benefit from playing over 5 min ,right?

Just F this season and F Scot Skiles and whoever hired this clown.

tanking by the coach and players is a myth. Maybe the GM sets a team up to lose but that is about it. These guys have jobs on the line and aren't going to just give up and play to lose. People said oh no because you can have an assurance from the GM that you will be retained yet we saw what happened to Vaughn. It also makes no sense for a player to not play the best he can. They lose value with every bad game they have. And the recent wins are showing that to be even more true. I think we need to just accept that right now we are to young and just don't have the right formula for winning.

If we go on a 8 win run, our team will be far more appealing to FA
