They lost though. Charlotte doesn't need much at the moment.

While “Great Wall of Whiteside” is the nickname most often associated with Whiteside, he said his favorites are “Agent Block” (given to him by a friend) and Blocktopus (“I thought that was funny”). He said the person who suggested Blocktopus makes apparel and wants to create a shirt with a picture of Whiteside’s face inside an octopus.

Blocktopus?

How annoying, first Charlotte gets insanely hot against us from 3 and gets a win (even with how crappy Dwyane plays), then San Antonio completely coasts after beating Golden State and hands a game to the Hornets. If they end up with a higher seed than us, I won't forget how these last few games helped make that happen :(

They won't. We're currently the 3rd seed and other than the Spurs game which is basically a scheduled loss our remaining schedule is very soft. We'll be fine, we just need to take care of our own business.

Our remaining 13 games:
Pelicans:
Spurs:
Magic:
Nets:
Lakers:
Kings:
Trailblazers:
Pistons:
Bulls:
Magic:
Magic:
Pistons:
Celtics:

Every single one of those games outside of the Spurs game in winnable.

I hope we bust ass and finish the season on a high note going into the playoffs. Hopefully have everyone back by then too to get some run in before the playoffs start. I still believe Bosh and TJ will be back.

We have the tie breaker so as long as we only lose one more game then them we'll get the higher seed. If we can't manage that we don't deserve a high playoff seed.

Good thing we have solid young player's who can win games. Old man Wade and Joe are going to need limited minutes leading up to the playoff's. Any word on Bosh or Tyler Johnson getting minutes before the season is over?

Seeing all the talent on this roster yet we're in a dogfight with the likes of Boston, Atlanta, and freaking Charlotte.....ugh. I know there's a lot to it than names on paper but honestly I got no doubt we're the best of that pack. I hope we reach 46-48 wins at least, anything more would be pretty sweet

#1 on Zach Lowe's list of things he likes this week:
1. The Miami Speed Machine

These Heat contain multitudes, but my favorite version might be the frantic, physical, pace-pushing crew of Goran Dragic, Josh Richardson, Justise Winslow, Luol Deng and Hassan Whiteside -- a new-ish group that has plastered opponents by 17 points per 100 possessions in just more than 100 minutes together.

They play faster than Miami's normal pace, and when Dragic can't find running mates, they settle in around Whiteside's thundering rolls. Richardson, Deng and Winslow form a switchy, ferocious defensive trio across the middle three positions; Richardson and Winslow defend inside your jerseys, and Richardson has been unconscious from 3-point range lately.

Remember how we all went gaga when Kawhi Leonard trailed Kevin Durant around a pick, jumped around Durant's body as Durant wound up for a jumper, and appeared beside him to block the shot in mid-air? Winslow pulled that same trick against Nicolas Batum last week.

It's not a coincidence this lineup features neither Dwyane Wade nor Joe Johnson to slow it down, but Wade's veteran guile provides a different sort of watchability when he's on the floor.

I feel uneasy when Lowe tries to put us on blast but I'll take it...

The national media went 0 to 100 on the coverage real quick.

I may have to brush up on the 2011 Mavs right quick; something about this team is giving me similar vibes.
