OG Anunoby

Post#1 » by TheSuzerain » Sun Mar 20, 2016 5:30 pm

So I watched the IU-UK game yesterday, and my main takeaway was that this guy is fantastic.

Dare I say, he looked like the best prospect on the floor.

Doesn't seem like he'll come out this year, but I expect his stock to shoot up next year to the point where he's surefire lotto.

Could be a 1st round pick under a Stevens type coach.

Next year will be Anunoby's breakout year. Just like when Oladipo broke out as a sophomore. His tools are fantastic. 6'8 too.

I thought the same. He had a really good game. I didn't follow Indiana this season at all so I was surprised to learn he is only a freshman. I am looking forward to watching that Indiana team in the next round. They were fun to watch.

He is a great prospect. Unreal defensively and Prime Ron Artest as his defensive potential. Starting to show signs of a 3 as well. Looks to be at very least a very good 3 and lockdown D player.

He is phenomenal, can switch on everything and has elite physical tools, he should start next season at the PF

We found ourselves a gem, wasn't a highly regarded recruit despite the unteachable measurables

OG's defense on Murray during the UK game was superb. He wasn't much of a shooter at the beginning of the season but I guess at IU everyone develops/shows signs of a 3pt shot.

Haha I commented on the Blazer board yesterday about this guy. I couldn't find any draft boards giving him any love, but he looks like he has a legit NBA body and seems productive in some key areas.

Tom Crean has a type that he recruits. Wade, Oladipo, Wes Matthews, Troy Williams, Anunoby. I mean, wings who tend to have very long wingspans.

Someone would be crazy not to take him in the first round this year. He's a lottery pick after his sophomore season. Reminds me of Kawhi Leonard in college.

I would take him in the lotto if he dares to declare this year, 100%

If he does declare then I would love the jazz to draft him. The jazz are missing that lock down defender and they have the depth to be patient with him.

That is why I think Taurean Prince is going to get drafted high. Everyone needs that wing defender at the 3 spot. Utah, Pheonix, Orlando, Denver, New Orleans, Minnesota, Sacramento could all use that and I think once one of those teams takes Jaylen Brown, Prince is next.

From what I've heard, about 6'8" w/ a 7'2" -7/3" wingspan

Man, if he comes out this year someone will get them a huge steal.
