Oh and Austin Barnes.

He might just force this team to put him on the roster.
Love this kid.

Where is Beachy's tendinitis?

LOL...Come on Gurnick, that's an important detail.

Anywho. I'm one to stay positive.
It's looking like Magic Mike will have his moment in the sun...AGAIN.

Positives:
1) He's been here before
2) He has pretty good stuff although he doesnt throw hard
3) Doesn't it just seem like he deserved another shot and that he was UNJUSTLY (for lack of a better term) not going to get one before the injuries occurred???

Happy for Mike and if he can duplicate last year, we're not going to feel much from those injuries.

Just saw that it is in his arm.

I know A LOT of basketball players get tendinitis in their knees.
Is this common for pitchers? I know it doesnt really go away and you just have to manage it.

Is he entering a territory where his arm may just be defective?

R & R for Beachy?

Could Beachy take the Jared Dudley approach by resting and rehabbing his arm? Dudley helped his situation by trimming down for the weight-bearing appendage, so things would obviously be different in that regard.

So glad to hear Kazmir is able to touch his normal velocity.
My goodness he had me scared for a second.
Whew.

After all the injuries, we REALLY need him to be the guy he was in Oakland.

Yasmani Grandal dealing with an injury now?
Forearms?

Well, I like Aus the Boss anyway.

And, I'm sure much to Ranma's chagrin, we have [to my estimation] the first mention of Kershaw's opt out clause.
And it looks like the question has finally reached Clayton Kershaw himself (in the link above).

My only saving grace on this issue is that this front office DID make Greinke an aggressive offer worth $30 Ms per year.

Oh and there's commentary from Zaidi on our rotation etc. etc.

Unbelievable.

When it rains it phuckin pours. These injuries aren't just occurring to the front office's buy-low-injured-history acquisitions.
Bolsinger gets injured the moment we practically made him the 5th starter?
Montas' has a stress reaction in his rib and cant come back until June?
Ethier fouls a ball off of his leg?
Seager running around a 1b bag?

and to top it all off? Some idiot rear ends Kershaw just to scare the **** out of all of us.

This is bull.

I was reading somewhere that we might not need a 5th Starter until the 17th of April.

Is that true?
Maybe Bolsinger's oblique will go away by then?

edit:
With Ethier out can we get a Trayce/**** platoon?
The only thing pissing me off more is that Carl Crawford is going to be in LF.
Of all the players to get injured for Blue, Crawford is up and running like a [34 year old] gazelle....OH THE IRONING BOARD!

unless you want Kersh on the mound after 3 days of rest, no. that is not true.

we open the season with 7 game in a row before a day off, then 6 games in a row again.

Yeah, I read that on a forum and then a blog (which could have been a look at the schedule for me, sorry) dispelled that for me.

I was looking forward to Frias coming out of the pen as a young fireballer.
Now we have to possibly consider him as a starter after the injury gods literally tore through almost all of our depth.

Dylan Hernandez on Mason and Ireland discussing his article on why the Dodgers aren't building a better team around Kershaw.
Thought he made a solid point about the FO not seeing the team the way the rest of the fan base does because they're new to the market.

Then he said he would have moved Turner to 2nd for Frazier.

http://www.truebluela.com/2016/3/23/11294522/louis-coleman-dodgers-bullpen

Kenley Jansen, Chris Hatcher, J.P. Howell and Blanton are locks for Dodgers bullpen spots, with Coleman competing with Yimi Garcia, Pedro Baez and Luis Avilan for those final three spots. The latter three have options while Coleman does not, and Coleman has been pitching far too well to pass through waivers at this point.

In other words, get used to the fact that Coleman will be in the Dodgers' bullpen to open the season.
