Ragland becoming a popular dot-connecting pick too. Might be a reach, but I like him better than Heeney or Erin Henderson

Some outlets have us reaching for Spence, or Nkedemche or whatever his name is

Ragland just looks like a big slow ILB to me. Looks like something you can find in the 3rd or 4th rounds.

Article on what Reggie values if you havent seen it....not ground breaking....but keeps me firm in thinking it wont be an RB or an ILB in the 1st. Btw, after a good FA, I'm much more open to EE but I dont think he'll be there.

Nkemdeche or whatever would be awesome, provided he's not as much of a headcase as that one situation suggests.
Would be pretty cool to have an interior DL who can play both the run and rush the passer...going to make life much easier for Mack coming off that edge.

From Inside the Raiders blog:

The NFL recently clarified that Smith, who is suspended until mid-November and can’t apply for re-instatement until 60 days prior, is eligible to sign a contract even while he’s under suspension. The Raiders don’t plan to rush into re-signing Smith though.

mercifully, Mychal Rivera is on the trade block and Clive Walford is primed for a bigger role

now how many rushers do we have on the roster? \

Khalil Mack
Bruce IRvin
Mario Edwards Jr
Aldon Smith
Shilique Calhoun
Jihad Ward

and I am not even counting other DEs like Denico Autry or Shelby Harris or other OLBs like Malcolm Smith. this team now has a potential to lead the league in sacks, with Dan Williams and Justin Ellis in the middle.
ehhhhh f it.

Whoo-hoo! Raiders o- and d-lines will be a strength. It's all about the trenches.

I have another bet with my Niners friend - who has a better record? Loser pays at House of Prime Rib. I had to give him two games, so Raiders better do it - this year is thw year.

Gabe Jackson to RG.

I like it.
In the event of an older Penn getting hurt, it's easier for KO to just kick out to LT instead of moving from RG to LT.

Cool. Also I *think* we only have *2* of our draft picks unsigned so far? I think we've signed the rest/all of them?
