I'm not criticizing the shot...I'm simply saying that wasn't the play that was drawn up in the huddle. My point was that Milwaukee did a great job taking away the first couple of options, the play broke down, and well...you saw the ending.

you right and based on the language of my original comment i can see what your saying. Ya no way in hell SVG drew up KCP running towards the half court line with less than 10 seconds left. i still don't udnerstand how Harris missed our 7foot giant wide open under the rim, but we'll take W's any way we can

What's even better is Mook is absolutely good enough to be a starter and can play off the bench and finish games just like ginobli. You know how rare that is?

Next season could just be amazing. Man am I excited.

oddly when i made my previous comment i was thinking about Ginobli. I really think it could help our team with slow starts this season and next season if we can Kieff in the offseason and half the bash brothers anchor our bench, we'll be a hard team to stop. Not to mention their versatility gives us a lot of options in rotations.

Some people were criticizing the play like it was something Stan had drawn up. Have they never heard of a broken play? The NBA is more about being able to run a form of a coaches play then to run the actual play as it very rarely happens the way it was drawn up.

It reminds me of the "A butterfly flaps it's wings and causes a hurricane" adage;

Say a fan trips in the upper bowl and dumps his drink over the rail splashing someone below and during this Stan looks up as he's pointing his finger to Drummond in the post to Harris but because he is distracted for a split second looking at the fans his finger and hand moves to point at Pope at the tip of the key.

**** happens and it's always the smallest things that can have massive impacts on a game like basketball with the fans so close to the court, or teams anticipating a play call.

Unless of course Stan drew up a 28 foot three pointer when only down one. If that's the case I guess the complainers finally got one right.

I doubt it but hey, who knows?

i do believe they practice these sort of situation in practice and/or during huddles make it a point of emphasis that we need to get a quick shot up. Down 1, we dont' need a three, but in context that was the quickest and best shot available. Especially after watching the replay. A lay up would have been nice, but it wasn't there.

Wait, are you still on this Markieff kick? I can see now this is going to be the next "bring Mike James back" situation. Just as that took over for the Hunter/Mills for Chris Webber pipe dream.

you should stay true to your fandom and donate the $75 to Josh Smith gofund me page. :nod: :D :P :lol:

i won money on the BRK game, bought the kid of the guy who lost a pistons jersey. :lol:

Lol, that's great man! During the month of December, I racked up a nice amount of money from betting and used that towards the homeless. I made sandwiches and bought bottles of water and gave it all away.

Josh Smith is good financially. I wish I was still getting a 5 million dollar check from my previous employer, lol!

we definitely need a versatile PF, and we will most certainly take one on a great contract. Washington gave up their pick, if we made ours available, i can see Washington biting.
