Will Peyton Manning return now that Brock Osweiler is with Houston?

Post#1 » by orlandomanic » Thu Mar 10, 2016 3:43 pm

This is a shocker signing by the Texans, being able to pull away Oswiler from the Broncos.

Will Peyton Manning return to the Broncos to help captain a team with an elite defense to another championship?

Will Denver use their 1st round draft pick on a QB this year?

Manning was awful last year. That'd be a dumb move on their part.

Denver is already pursuing other options.
Manning appears to not be one due to retirement. Does Denver really want Manning for another season? I doubt it.
I was at my local gym when I saw on the tv that Oswiler signed with Houston. At first I was taken back, but the money was the clear difference maker, and Elway has been under estimating how much money many of his players would receiving. That's why they've been leaving.

I read an interview on another forum that points to other issues leading to Osweiler's decision. They included the benching, the fact that the Broncos waited so long to begin talking to him and some of his overall problems with the offensive scheme.

Sounds like his teammates & a lot of front office people in Denver are upset about the decision. Time will tell, but I think that this could be good for Houston & Osweiler.

As for Peyton coming back? I don't think that is in the cards. I'm hearing that Denver may be close with Kaepernick. Whomever they sign or trade for the team still needs to target a QB early in the upcoming draft now that their plan for the future just left them.

According to articles he's their plan b.
With knowing that is that going to sit well with him? I doubt it, unless they overpay.

If Denver didn't want to pay Osweiler that much, they aren't going to pay Fitz what he wants either. Fitz is probably a better fit for Kubiak's offense, than Kap.
