Note worthy that Afflalo had lift on his jumper and he was actually passing. The team sure do enjoy a few days rest.

Jose Calderon has 402 followers. Dude is type popular wtf.

Im scared we will end the season on a good note and Rambis gets hired.

Win, Toronto pick gets worse, Rambis stays

or

Lose, Rambis gets replaced, Toronto pick gets better.

AA played well
this kind of guard matchup is better for him, less chasing quick guards all the time

Best part of the night was Barry's attempt to not be too excited about KP, but you could tell that he was really seeing it for the first time

the fact that he's kinda been mastering the bank shot allows him to be an even more versatile scoring option. He's just lethal once he gets position there.

i really hope both he and Williams see how effective they can both be from within the arc

if KP gets two or three 2 pointers off before he starts jacking up 3s he's always better
if Williams doesn't camp on the line but steps in and uses his penetration threat to get a shot he's much more effective

There were like 20 times that many Latvians at the Wizards game; they were in the nosebleeds, so TV didn't see them. They were in the section one over from mine going nuts the entire game and chanting Porzingis!

JayKnicKz11 wrote:Shouts to Grant. .455 FG% in February and .473 in March. 5 threes this month, 10 the other months combined. Also back to back games with 2 3pt FGM. Has not made 2 3's in a game previously all year. Give that man those minutes.

Another note on Jerian is that there was a point in the last two games where I thought Kurt was going to sit him.

- Against the Kings early in the 2nd I think he had a turnover and then missed a layup. Was the usual time Kurt would take him out too. Well he left him in, and then he exploded for that great 2nd quarter.

- While last night Jerian was just pretty quiet in the 1st half, and wasn't doing all that much in the 2nd either. Thought Kurt would pull him after he called a timeout and the team was floundering a little. Right after that Jerian hits a three and makes a nice drive. Followed by hitting another three later.

The coach having confidence in you can make all the difference in the world, and sometimes guys just need to play. I find myself looking over Jerian's shoulder for him after every little mistake he makes now . Meanwhile the rest of our guards can turn the ball over willy nilly and not hit the rim on shots, but nothing happens. It's a funny little game to play whenever one them does something stupid to ask yourself "What if Jerian did that?"

yea, i felt like part of KP's rookie wall was just not being able to set position within the arc and not drawing fouls. The more KP's in the paint, the better his game is and the more it opens up his perimeter shot.

D-Will thrives in the paint too. Same with Grant. Both just need to focus on driving in the paint and drawing fouls. For Grant, when he drives, he also should see that more passing lanes will open for KP to get an easy dunk or to kick it out to an open shooter for a three.

yea, i mean Jerian's just got to stay aggressive and he'll get his minutes, as long as he doesn't do anything stupid out there. Rambis wants him to shoot. It's no coincidence his shot has gotten better over the last two months, most of which is behind the scenes.

If he continues to shoot the open jumpshots, it will open up driving lanes, which will allow him to get easy layups/FTs, allow him to feed the ball to our bigs, and also kick the ball out to shooters

grant has a lot of growth still to do but he plays well on both sides of the ball most possessions

its incredible that we don't play him with a purposeful consistency

the best free throw shooting team needs to get inside enough to get to the line

KP moving off the ball getting free show extended shots and /or fouls is great!

Its games like tnt when you see everyone playing well that you can think the knicks are not too far away..
I really wouldnt mind Afflalo staying on as 6th man.. thats a perfect role for him but we need a starter at the SG position.

Said it before, but Kurt/Cleamons get some credit. It's night and day from when he took over, and we've seen the visual evidence that they're working with him closer than before. Unless you think Jerian just woke up after the all star break and decided to stop being bad, which would be pretty awesome no lie.

Now if only he kept this up and played more than 17 minutes, this team could end the season on a high note like the Bucks, Nuggets, and Wolves. Won't happen until we're mathematically out of it though it seems.

Oh and then there's this:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/KLChouinard/status/712984565447417856[/tweet]

Kinda funny, but give me Jerian still all day.

well the problem with THjr is and has always been streaky shooting

he may be on a roll but lets see if he can be the slightest bit consistent or not

oh, and there is the whole defense thing
