Going to miss MKG tonight more than any other time.

That Greek kid has been going nuts since the ASB. Who's going to guard him? Lee's not long enough.

Going to need Bats to lock him up, which means someone else will need to step up on the offensive end.

If lamb can just stay in front of the Greek, that's most of the battle

The starters need to play better defense from the tip off and not dig a big hole again.

OK, Bucks have a 4-game losing streak. That could be good or bad. Good in that they aren't riding a hot streak and are beatable. Bad in that they may be due for a win and have everything fall together for them. We just got embarrassed so I'm looking for us to come out with an edge tonight. They may be big, but we have more depth. Bench has to get it done tonight and starters need to keep the game close and hopefully establish a lead. Hard to come back on the road.

What are the chances of a house with dish (or maybe directtv) in the Forest City, Bat Cave, Lake Lure, Black Mountain region of NC having Fox Sports Southeast?

You should get it as long as you don't have TWC and are east of Greensboro.

This race is so tight it's unbelievable, we're only 2.5 games from falling out of the playoffs. Much needed win tonight!

If Clifford is bold he could start Lin this game in place of Kemba. We need to set the tone on defense from the get go. Lin is bigger and a better defender. Once we keep it competitive, Kemba can come in and get his. Of course it won't happen. There are less than a handful of coaches who have the guts to do that. Cliff won't even sit Kemba in the dying seconds of games in which we don't need more points but need to protect a lead.

This is a tough matchup because of Middleton and Giannis... But the Bucks bench is really just terrible. Both Jeremy's should have a heck of a game, that is if they aren't commanded to bog everything down and force feed al Jefferson.

Jefferson should not be the recipient of 5 straight post ups in any scenerio, he needs to do what cliff talked about when he returned from injury ; set screens and roll hard to the rim. He gets lazy often and goes right to the block which kills spacing for the guards.

Isn't there some Lin fan board you can go talk about his slights on? You honestly think it's a good idea to start Lin for defensive purposes lol? Didn't realize jerryd Bayless was a star player that needs to be contained.

Can't really agree with you PG13. Kemba is the only one that scored and gave us a chance if other guys were able to pitch in last night. And it's not even in the realm of possibilities for Cliff to consider that, he made that clear in some post-game comments. Defense is a team game and Lin will have his hands full with Middleton at some point in this game and may need help. What we need is to play team defense, try to keep Middleton in check and the Greek freak, and guys like Lin and Al have to come off the bench and give you the solid games they are capable of. If we get a more healthy Marv back tonight that will help.

But Kemba scored 29 last night and his scoring and ball-handling is an essential part of our game. Lin is a box of chocolates, and really I think Lin has a different confidence level starting when a guy is down or struggling vs. when everyone else is playing well or his position is playing well. His job/role is to get it going when his number is called off the bench in his regular rotations and clutch times if his number is called.

Where in my post did I talk about his slights? So you think Kemba only needs to guard one player? OK then.

Middleton would rape Lin. :(

Yup. The Lin as SG experience has not been successful and definitely won't be in this game against the big Bucks  . If Lin only gets 8 minutes, so be it.

Lin is 3rd facilitator if Batum and Walker are on and especially if the opposing team goes small. He's an off-ball facilitator and he scored 29 and 21 games mostly in that capacity. Lin is also the 2nd unit organizer and initiates the offense in most sets. I don't think that the SG designation is that important, it's just guard and his production depends on his rhythm and confidence more than anything else IMO.

I think Lin's fairly versatile role from off the bench is pretty well defined and has had many successful moments in the season. He's just struggled with his shot/scoring some nights and with his rhythm.

That wouldn't be gutsy.

It would be utter stupidity.

Really? I thought it would be worth trying lol...but since it'd never happen we'd never know  .

What about putting in Kaminsky for Kemba when the Bucks go BIG?

PG13, when Lee couldn't go the last time we started with Frank. Worked only for one half. The second half the traditional smaller guys, like Lin and Kemba got it going and Lin took the challenge to guard Middleton and did a good job on him.

Kemba gives up a lot of size but he still gets rebounds, steals and plays team defense so it is what it is. On the offensive end, he's one of the best ball handlers in the league and now a big threat to score at any time and in the clutch. So, Kemba is going to be in most lineups and then Cliff may go more seat of the pants of what groups are playing best together, or if Frank gets it going, or Lamb, or whoever, then he goes with that player. But Kemba's going to play big minutes, and usually that pays off.
