You don't know the Wizards if you think they're that lucky .

And I'd add the late game experience is probably good for them too. But honestly I don't see a way you end up that far back, I'm rooting for it.

Also just simmed the lotto 2 times, first time you were 4. Second:

Even though Philly drops in that scenario, being that they keep the Laker pick, that would fill out their roster quite nicely.

I wanted Dunn for OKC last year until he pulled out, he'd be great for them.

I don't even know if I would want the 1st pick in this draft and be forced to pick a guy that is talented but have worrisome attitude, don't defend and can't shoot.
Hope McD can find another Booker level talent somewhere.

I thought the same of Simmons too honestly, but I guess you'd hope Chandler would keep him honest in the locker room. Or risk Ingram, either way.

Just saw Devin Booker's highlights against the Kings last night, my Lord hes gonna be a killer when he puts on 10-15lbs of muscle. Hes gonna have a great future. What a steal for you guys in the lottery last year. But what happens to Bledsoe/Knight since I presume Booker is the starting SG of the future

Hopefully Knight moves to sixth man and plays off the bench with Jenkins/Bogdonavic next year or possibly traded if he has value.

I'll take 5 lbs of muscle and 10 overall. Booker and Klay were the same weight at the combine despite being two years younger. He doesn't need much.

Devin Booker highlight reel.

Seriously think he will perfect that step back jumper and pull-up jumper after this offseason. The kid is gonna be unstoppable.

Bookers March performance:

22 Points, 5 Assists, 3 Rebounds @ 104 Offensive Rating.

As a comparison Knight has never been better in any category in a season.

I think someone made another one and I'm sure I posted it. For some reason though I believe I posted it in a game thread. It wasn't as good as that one though^.

8th on the rookie ladder behind Towns, Porzingis, Turner, Winslow, Jokic, Russell, and Okafor. I think I would disagree with this list.

Don't really care about week to week performance in a volatile rookie season, its bound to fluctuate between slumps and surges gotta take it all with a grain of salt. As long term prospects I would rank Booker as the best guard in his class. Overall, only behind KAT, Porzingis, Okafor because dominant bigs are rarer commodities and more invaluable. Jokic and Turner have really intriguing skill sets as well, I think he's in their tier

Booker doesn't look like much of an athlete but after watching game highlights he is very quick for his size. Also his ball handling is severely underrated. Guess we forgot about this ...

Five things to know about the NBA Draft Combine's Friday session
By Sam Vecenie | Staff Writer

...

2. Devin Booker looked very good in athletic tests

Booker put up a ridiculous 10.22-second lane agility score that was the best for an off-guard since 2001, and the third-best overall of the last decade. That score was the best in this camp by a very healthy margin, beating Keifer Sykes by .28 seconds. He then followed that up with a 2.75-second shuttle run time, which also led the combine. And really, if you think about it, that makes sense. Sure, he might not have expected to do that well. But if you watch his tape, he's extremely quick coming off of screens, and also is very slippery against defenders. This type of score also points to some potential defensive upside, the side of the ball where Booker showed quite a bit of weakness this season.

Overall, between the agility tests, his solid (if unspectacular) 34.5-inch vertical leap, and coming in a bit longer than expected with a 6-8.25 wingspan, Booker had a good week here in Chicago, combatting some of the athleticism concerns about him.
