I think he does know that and it angers him. It cost his team the 2006 championship. That was the worst officiated series ever.
Meh. It was probably the most over-officiated series rather than the worst. It wasn't like Dirk didn't shoot a billion FT's that playoffs either. This was clearly an emphasis given by the league and to Wade's credit he saw they were going to reward him every time he attacked so he just never stopped. Dallas simply didn't have a player like Wade to do the same thing.
As to last night, the only call I was upset about was Barnes holding up Matthews getting out to Klay when the Mavs had cut it to 3. That was blatant and it killed the Mavs comeback. Almost certainly doesn't change the outcome of the game because Klay/Curry continuing to spit fire was a near certainty--Charlie V and Matthews doing so was absolutely not. Just hate to see them swallow the whistle at such a key moment.
I too like that Cuban is willing to criticize the league, but hate the way he did it here. I wish he would also complain every time Dallas benefited from a bad call. Back when he was paying 7 figures in fines and working at Dairy Queen--he was also getting some things corrected in terms of how officials are judged and the league is better for it. League needs more owners willing to go public when working behind the scenes doesn't work because of the old-guard Stern/Reinsdorf and Co blockade.
