Buddy Hield could end up going in the top 3.

He is Bradley Beal with work ethic. He has a chance to be an all-star. I would be interesting to see if Ainge will draft him if he is available with the Nets pick.

Buddy Hield ballin again right now.

He had moved into the top 3 IMO.

I'm one of the very few right now, but I would take Hield over Simmons and Ingram.

Heild's shoulder fakes remind me of Pierce. It's just a short, ugly, well-timed dip that allows him to create separation.

His offensive game is unbelievable. Doesn't need to dominate the ball to put up big scoring numbers either. I like everything about his game and we desperately need a scorer like him. I'd still lean towards Ingram because he's been scoring at a high clip efficiently as well, and he's like 4 years younger (not to mention longer, more athletic, etc.)

So when does Fischella admit he's wrong on Hield?

This guy can PLAY! He's not in the Simmons/Ingram tier, but he's jumped pretty easily into the Bender/Dunn tier. Great to see the draft coming together with a strong tier 2 in case the ping pong balls don't bounce our way.

If Hield goes before Simmons, it'd be the best thing to have happened to Ben. It'd be such a freaking huge gut punch, that Simmons'd have to change his approach to team basketball.

Yes. Here is why. I've watched him all season. I haven't watched every game he has played in but about 11-12 games this year.

I've had him in my top 10 all season. Most in my top 5 ahead of Dunn. What I like to see is if top prospects can live up to the hype in big games, especially Tournament time. He has stepped up big in big games and now he has his team in the Final 4.

Just think about the possibilities of a starting lineup next year of:

SF: Crowder
PF: Durant
C: Horford
SG: Hield
PG: Thomas

Bench: Turner, Bradley, Smart, Sully, KO, Mickey, and two other # 1 picks.

If we get Horford and Hield, there is a good chance Durant comes.

Why is this so hard to believe? Simmons didn't even make the tourny and he showed no signs of even being a passable shooter (which is a problem in today's game). He's obviously really talented, but he disappointed tremendously towards the end of the season. He didn't want the ball in pressure/big moments and he showed a complete lackadaisical attitude most of the season. Compare that to Ingram, who wanted the ball in his hands with the season on the line and saved some of his best games for the biggest stage. And Hield who has dominated the tournament offensively and has a chance to lead his team to a national championship. Simmons might be the most talented prospect, but he certainly isn't the consensus pick anymore.

And that chance will have nothing to do with Hield.

Adam Kaufman @AdamMKaufman

THIS from @SIPeteThamel: Buddy Hield - real name Chavano - got nickname based on Married with Children's Bud Bundy http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2016/03/25/ncaa-tournament-buddy-hield-oklahoma-humble-beginning

Not sure why you want to be named after Bud Bundy, but I love the MWC reference, it's been of my favorite TV shows when I was younger. I just might have to binge-watch it now.

Hield's rising up the draft boards is absolutely fantastic for the Celtics in terms of that Nets pick trade value. I'm sure there are a few GMs who are in love with him right now.

If the Celtics got 1 or 2, I would trade it. I can't take Hield over Ingram or Simmons. And neither of those guys is a great fit for the team with Crowder already there and a proven NBA talent. I'd either trade back (but only for future picks, nothing else in this Draft!) or trade it for a known commodity.
