Mark Cuban criticizes refs. Fine incoming

I'm not sure if you are new to basketball or not... but Bogut fouled him AFTER he committed the travel. That means the foul was irrelevant.

The ridiculous moving screens by Bogut, Green and Varejao are ridiculous...

Bogut played all of 18 minutes.
Varejao played all of 10 minutes.

Please... tell me again about all those moving screens they did in that time on court

Seriously the whole moving screen thing has become such a joke. It's gotten to a point now where people are so hypersensitive that the Warriors players are just automatically assumed that every screen is an illegal moving screen that only the Warriors get away with.

I bet if you looked at the video Dallas probably did just as many if not more moving screens.... and because nobody has braneded them with that nobody even notices.

It's gotten to a ridiculous point now where every time a team loses to the Warriors it's because of illegal screens. What a joke you all are. Take the loss like a man.

As a life long Dubs fan, all I can say is "I'm loving it". I saw my team get nailed by the refs for over a decade. Now I set back and never complain about a call and im loving it.

While your team is now a league office favourite, you know the system is broken and in the long run it will come round again and bite you in the ass. Is it right that only fans of the very best teams get to enjoy the games? I think you have already answered that question.

Yesterday a crew headed by Ed Malloy tossed both Kyle Lowry and Demar DeRozan. How many teams have two allstars get so fed up with reffing incompetence, to be kind, or league/mob direction, to be truthful, that both get tossed within 2 minutes at the end of a yet undecided game?

I fully support Mark Cuban when he goes on a rant against the standard of reffing we have to tolerate.

Home teams have always received beneficial bias from NBA refs. It's the same with every team in every arena, not just the Warriors, and it's always been that way.

One reason is that the NBA is a business that does better if home teams win than if home teams lose, since almost all of the customers at each game are fans of the home team (as with almost all businesses, it's important to keep customers happy). Another reason is that NBA refs are human beings who are prone to the psychological influence of thousands of screaming fans.

how come no one is complaining about soccer refs ? they have an even harder job as the size of the court is about 10 times (up to 25 times) as big as a basketball court, yet they have to see minimum contact. and unlike in the NBA, there is only one guy making decisions (sideline refs in soccer have a lesser role than NBA refs).
but what about european (fiba) refs ? they don't get intimidated either. mind you, the euro crowd is much more hostile AND have bigger arenas than the US. the psychological influence should be higher over there but the results don't show it.

the real issiue is this: refs from other or similar sports abroad aren't as bad as NBA refs, yet they get paid only 10% of what the NBA hands out for their cast (NBA ref gets $250k-$300k a year). why do the obviously lesser specimen (refs) get 10 times as much money in the NBA ? it can't be payment for their quality of work, because it's obviously lacking.
so, why the extra cash? hush money ?

I'll admit, I have only spot checked through the previous postings, but I am amazed at how many do not realize what several pointed out: NBA stars have always gotten preferential treatment. Right? Of course not. But unless you have authority over the NBA officials, your opinion probably isn't going to make much of a difference - just ask Mark Cuban. lol
