It's funny, I remember early in the year last season nbadraft.net had us taking Hield at like 17. I kind of took note of him since then. But he decides to stay another year, and we could end up taking him anyway, just a year later at a much higher spot.

I was at a restaurant earlier and a sports page was sitting there and the Austin newspaper had an LA Times article about Hield in it. Pretty good NBA article...talks about his crazy work ethic.

Another interesting read comparing him to other shooting guards taken in the lottery over the last 20 drafts.

Another hard working good guy, nice. It gives us another player to like just in case we fall. If we end up with one of Ingram, Simmons, Bender, Murray, Hield, and Dunn; I would be okay.

Edit: and to tell you the truth, I really could care less who we end up with, but my preference is Ingram without a doubt.

I take it you don't want Brown, because on most mocks, he is higher than the guards. I don't really want Brown..I don't really want Murray that much either but Brown has been the least impressive to me from the college guys by far out of those 7.

He is a much more sure thing now. He is athletic, can score in lots of ways, and he defends. I know we have Booker, but if we are at 3-5 and he is there, I would have no regrets taking him. I would be more comfortable with him than Bender.

Chriss can't really crash the glass his TRB% is alarmingly low , he gets about the same amount of offensive boards as defensive ones

I want nothing to do with Brown. Murray is slotted after the other guys as of now for me. I would take Bender over him because Bender is said to have a great game at 7'1 and he must be mocked high for a reason, so I will trust that, also Buddy and Dunn's tourney play surpassed Murray's.

Yes, I've noticed he never gets a ton of rebounds despite the blocks, steals and athleticism. Not sure why that is.

Hield - Booker backcourt is transformational.

Post-game. Chambers applauded Booker attacking the hoop and lambasted Knight for chucking his three. Said Booker was out best option. Post-game: Watson said Booker really wants to be the man taking the last shot.....I would say he has Kobesque mental makeup, but he still acquiesce to Knight too much for my liking.

Booker showing respect is fine by me. Brandon's cut down on the turnovers - that's really big. I'm not mad about it.

I said before that I wouldn't take two power forwards with our top two picks, but there is an exception. If we get Simmons, we can grab a PF. Simmons can play any position. If, somehow, Sabonis fell to us at 12/13/14, I'd love to take those two.

Bledsoe/Knight
Booker/Goodwin/Jenkins
Warren/Tucker
Simmons/Sabonis
Len/Chandler

Sheezus. STACKED.

I'm not sure we can draft that many players who play in the paint. Only really Booker is a go to guy with an outside shot.

It's why I think we will pass on Sabonis, Davis, Rabb because their lack of range with the Washington pick.

I think we'd be looking at Labissiere, Chriss, Luwawu as modern day athletes that can shoot outside.

DX has 8 international players going in the first round. Last year there were 2 (exlcuding Mudiay).

Could be one of those years that turns out stealthily to be really good due to the number of unknown quantities.

That or this draft is a bust. I don't think we'll see an 'average' draft.

OK, I ve just had a dream that we won the lottery and picked Ingram, while Sabonis fell to us at 11.
I guess no need to explain why I woke up with a boner. :))))

I think is possible to play big time minutes with a terrific offensive lineup...

Bledsoe
Hield
Booker
Warren
Len

Warren need to improve his overall strength. Booker/ Hield / Bledsoe can switch a lot and I am gonna be interested in Hield's size at the combine because I think he is bigger than 6'4.

This is a team that would be challenged defensively, but we can insert Tucker or Chandler in the starting lineup to prevent foul's problems and get some balance. Not a ton of teams have big PFs to make a difference in the NBA right now, so I think this exciting and young team would make some noise and damage around the league.

I'm not concerned about line up.

If you had 3 rookies turn into All-Stars but who don't work well together, give me that problem.

I would rather see Lakers winning the lottery than dropping to 4th and giving the pick to Philly. How bad it would be to trade one of Hield/Bender for Knight :(

What would the Sixers be looking for in an Okafor trade? If the rumor is true. I like Okafor better than anyone not name Ingram this year.

I like Rabb because hes a good passer. NBA offenses in todays game rely on ball movement from all 5 guys on the floor- so ideally all guys should be at least decent at passing.

If Watson wants to implement similar high-low action next year, drafting a big man who can pass (Rabb) would be a step in the right direction.

If we could grab Rabb with the Was pick, and go BPA at our pick ill be happy. Brown and Rabb?
