With two talented bigs, Malone's PRIORITY ONE this off-season should be finding a way to play Nurkic and Jokic together.

Now why would he do that when both of them are centers as much as somebody can be? Just don't tell me that you think Jokic can play on PF position, he isn't quick enough to defend almost anyone on that position. Of course, nothing against him, he is a center and that's normal.

Respectfully, agree to disagree. And you always try to get your best 5 players on the floor, but that's just my opinion too.

Nurkic down low - Jokic at the high post --- make other teams matchup to the Nuggets.

Defense might be more of an issue but Nurkic & Jokic are very intelligent and can probably adjust.

I'd suggest playing them limited minutes this year has brought on some bad habits, for instance the tendency to take silly fouls out high or in the open court. It doesn't matter if you know coach isn't going to play you very many minutes, But starting centers are too valuable to lose to those types of fouls and they get enough fouls fighting down low. Both have also developed a bad habit of trying to cover jump shooters on pick-and-rolls; another source of silly fouls. They need to help their teammates on the pick-and-rolls, but they need to pull back as fast as possible to protect against people like Cousins & Jordan who can not be even slowed down by any but the biggest on a team.

I am not suggesting them as the starting bigs (although it might work), but 10-15 mpg might be nice. Without a doubt, Malone was not prepared for playing them together; I doubt many had thought of it. Let us see what the off-season brings from Malone. Year #2 will be VERY critical for Malone.
