In SVG We Trust wrote:Eric Gordon would be a top 5 SG if it wasn't for his injuries. Biyombo is being the center at the end of the Raps games, and making people doubt about Jonas as starter. Brandon Knight is a very good player. Evan Turner was a bust because his hype and potential, but he's a solid player and one of the best sixth men in the league. Marvin is an at least rotation PF who brings a lot of good minutes. Brandan Wright is one of the most versatile C/PF backups in the NBA...
So because one player couldn't be a star, you need to trade him?

I have
he is 37th out of 39 in 3 point shooting among the SGs
http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/3-points/sort/threePointFieldGoalPct/position/shooting-guards/order/false
he is the 42nd out of 53 in assists in 48 minutes among the SGs
http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/assists/sort/avg48Assists/position/shooting-guards/order/false
That assist stat is pretty pointless though - in our system KCP isn't expected to be a play maker.
Just cause they track everything doesn't mean that it's useful info
in our system KCP isn't expected to be a play maker because he can't.

this guy has not ball handling ability, and 3 point range. I gave you numbers. he is one of the worst guard in these categories.

1 - have not seen ANYONE claim to be an expert...do you know the background of every poster though? Seen their resumes? How do you know there aren't experts here?
2 - I personally don't recall stating KCPs assist numbers are low because of our system. If you can find a post where I said that please quote it and I'll take a look
3 - no ball handling ability? I'd be careful living in the land of absolutes. NONE at all? Really? Again you go to extremes like your Paul Heyman
4 - no 3 point range? Now this is just rubbish. Dude is launching it from 3 like NASA used to launch rockets man. If he didn't have the range he wouldnt be firing at will (poor will).
You mean he doesn't connect from range at a high %. Or his shot selection is terrible.
Where's Todd? Can you please post all the stuff you posted from the KCP=Stuckey thread for this guy? Please? Loved reading that argument. Loved how the POV was explained with all kinds of details.
I realise English might not be your first language dude, I do. But just posting stats don't mean **** to me. Not! A! Thing!
The game is played on the court and while numbers are an extremely useful tool they are still just ONE tool

word salad. sorry.
MrBigShot wrote:Hey, not every player has to be a playmaker. It may seem like KCP is the board's golden boy, but in reality people so frequently praise/defend him for two reasons:
1. He brings it on both ends every game, guaranteed.
2. A handful of people try to turn him into a scapegoat, as if all our issues as a team circle back to him, which isn't the case at all. These posters act as if he's in his 7th season or something showing no signs of improvement since his rookie year.
I really like this detroit bad boys article written today on KCP, definitely worth a read: http://www.detroitbadboys.com/2016/3/28/11304990/kentavious-caldwell-pope-detroit-pistons-a-moment-of-appreciation
