That is why there is no place for either on this team. They are players that want to "get theirs" and the team is second to their stats. Not to say they don't want to win but their game is just not a winning game at the NBA level. Knight and Tele are players that put up stats on bad teams and winning teams want no part of. What championship team outside of MJ and Kobe had "volume shooters" as their core players? Maybe the 2006 heat with wade but knight is not on that level. Knight is not a special player like that yet he plays like he is as does Tele. When you bring nothing else to the table outside of maybe getting hot for 10-15 games out of an 82 game season and shooting 35% the rest of the 65-72 games I say no thank you.

It's amazing how good Booker is. We really lucked out.

Towns is the only rookie I'd rather have. And even then, you can make a case for Booker.

That nice little run at the end with Price and Booker in the backcourt together (and BK on the bench) underscores just how potent a Bledsoe-Booker backcourt could be. Bledsoe is like Price on steroids when he wants to be - a high octane defender who is fearless slashing and can shoot a little. We don't need a pure facilitator next to Booker because he's already above average as a secondary facilitator. Just let Bled set the tone defensively and between them there will be a ton of offensive pressure for the opposing team to deal with.

Love the idea of a Bledsoe/Booker back court. If Knight is happy to come off the bench and we pair him with a shooter (Bogdan), we could have a very potent starting and second unit back court.

No, you really cant. I'd make that swap 100/100 times.

Yeah Booker is special but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Devin Booker in March - 22 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds

Klay Thompson this season - 22 points, 2 assists, 3 rebounds

Obviously big difference in effeciency on both ends, but he has 6 years on his side.

I really like that we've lost several close games this month. It shows that our team fights, and we might actually be better than our record indicates.

Yes you can make a case, for example in a guard dominated league I'd prefer Booker because he could become a Steph Curry versus, Towns becoming an Anthony Davis; just making a case, rather you agree with it or not, he can make a case.

He did say he'd rather have Towns and I would today, but that could change tomorrow. Booker wasn't given the franchise day one like Towns. Booker isn't playing against scrub centers in a league dominated by guards. If Booker continues what he is doing, oh yea, you could definitely make a case. Shaq or Kobe. Curry or Davis.

Towns looks really good, but he is still averaging 19 and 10 not 30 and 15.

Fun game to watch. Knight was on fire to start the game to the point I was surprised he didn't keep shooting it. Booker is so good. I love that we didn't give up and kept fighting back. Ronnie Price's intensity swung the game in our favor. You could see the whole team go into another defensive mode to start that 4th Quarter. I kind of wish they played like that more often and you see flashes of it from time to time (saw it in the beginning of the season too). Also, Len had a pretty nice game as well with another double double(14 and 13).

I also get the feeling we'll be having epic matchups in the playoffs with the Wolves in about 4 or 5 years. I honestly think we're on a similar trajectory and if we nail our picks this year, we'll be right back in the playoff hunt again next year.

Can't wait for Bledsoe to come back to unload some pressure for Book. Booker should be getting at least 2 wide open threes a game. I mean, Curry gets wide open threes constantly, and he's made probably over 400 just this season!
Booker needs to add that step back pump fake to his repertoire over the summer too. So excited to watch this kid grow.

Their talent level far outreaches ours. They have the next Duncan, and Wiggins & Lavine are both potential franchise guys. They could be adding Buddy Love in this draft. They will be much better than us much sooner. We would need to land a top 2 pick this year then pull a rabbit out of our hat with a Knight or Chandler trade to get close to their trajectory.

I agree, but I am not sure I would swap him for anyone else in that draft class. Porzingis? Maybe. That would be tough. I am glad we have who we have.

We have a decent shot at a top 2 pick and with the rest of our assets, I'm sure we could package some nice picks with Knight and/or Chandler to get something.

If Bledsoe remains healthy, I think we're going to be a lot closer to competing (playoffs....not championship) than you think. I did also say in about 4 or 5 years.

The Pelicans cannot get it going. How about we send Knight, Warren, Archie, the Miami picks, our pick next year, the Cleveland pick, and our second rounder this year to the Pels for AD, and call it a day? Pels would be flooded with assets.

Or say we get the #1 pick this year. Would Knight, the #1, Archie, and maybe an additional #1 or two net AD?

Unless he's requesting to get out of there, I don't think there's a package out there they would take. At least, I wouldn't.

Yeah, they will have cap room and a high pick this year. AD will be truly healthy for the first time next season. No way they give up on him just yet.

Why would you move a generational talent locked in to a 5 year team friendly deal which will look like a bargain once the cap goes above $100 million in a couple of year AD is probably my favorite player, but he is quite injury prone misssed 30+ games his first two seasons sidelined by minor dings. Hopefully he overcomes it like Curry did after his "glass ankles' phase
