If your only looking at game minutes you have a point. Thibs problem was running players into the ground BETWEEN games.

I like Thibs and any team looking to get over the hump should be the preferences destination for him. He'd be great here in about 2-3 years if we're not allready contending but fight now the fits not there imo

That's a good point. Do remember reading his practices were brutal as well. Tough call, one on hand it builds an identity of hard work/toughness but you're right it's scary long-term.

Idk I just think Giannis' defensive potential would be maximized under Thibs, I don't think any coach in the league has his understanding of that end of the floor. I think if we were ever to go the Thibs route it'd be better to do it now, when the guys are still really young and you can build those habits/that understanding early.

Why don't you like the fit right now? I'd argue we're trying to get over the hump now, we're shooting for the playoffs next year.

I don't like the fit right now because his M.O. is to run guys into the ground between games so to me wherever he lands the team he coaches will only have a window of about 4 years max before the players that he's pushing so hard have their bodies begin to break down.

Bringing him in now would shorten any window we could have because imo Giannis, Jabari and Middleton would be having their bodies begin to break down well before they ever hit 30.

A team looking to maximize a 2-4 year window is where he should land. The Bucks aren't close to being at that point yet.

I'm more worried about Giannis' body breaking down from playing every summer for Greece than I am a Head coach's minutes allocation. He literally has no off-season.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

Wiggins with 21 ft attempts?!! My god. The guy is good at drawing contact. Is he a Corey maggette or a James harden though?

Who was it that said ore draft that Wiggins wouldn't get the calls in the nba like he does in college? Pretty funny in hindsight.

I wonder what cheer the Suns fans chant on defense? Can't be D-fence, maybe it's oh-lay oh-lay oh-lay, watch out for the freight train?

Leuer can't guard Towns 1-on-1? I'm stun.

KVH is a forgotten player but he would have been a great fit on this Bucks team.

Leuer is the best part of that defense clip though look at everyone else off the ball it's chuckle worthy

I thought the FT shooter couldn't enter the lane until the ball hit the rim. Solid refereeing.

I like what Jordan used to do (warning, terrible video quality). The rule states you can't cross the three point line until the ball is released by the shooter. Jordan was great at timing it, which you can see from the various angles that are shown. I'd like to see Giannis try something like this.

Honestly, I'm surprised this doesn't happen anymore. There are some super freak athletes that could pull this off several times a season.

With no sign of a DeMarre Carroll return on horizon, last thing Raptors need is Lowry’s great season derailed by elbow issue.
