Something to look forward to! I'm interested to see him going against NBA talent.

If we somehow sign Bogdanovic this summer we have another good reason to trade Knight. He is a pure SG, and imo he would play even better PG over SF in the NBA.

I know that he has good length and is 6'6, but he is not strong enough to battle around the paint, he reminds me of Rudy Fernandez on that regard...probably in a couple of years he will have more weight and muscle to play SF a ton of minutes.

I would love to see some minutes Booker and Bogdanovic on the court together playing PG/SG.

Doesn't he have to wait another year to sign for more than the rookie wage scale?

Yeah, we will see what McDonough can make about that.

Yeah, we will see what McDonough can make about that.

It is in our benefit to get him here before that happens. However, he won't be coming here for 4th guard minutes to get paid $1M/yr. We would have to move Knight and offer him 1st guard off the bench minutes.

I think we're going to trade Knight and I think people will be surprised with what we get for him. How he plays is frustrating but people with his talent are still rare at his age, and that gives him upside regardless of how many feel here.

There's not much that makes sense in return though.

McDonough has only had him for 14 months, and he's been injured half that time. So would it make sense to trade him for some other 24 year old on $13m, probably not unless you're saying you made a mistake and want a better refund.

Then you probably don't trade him for a 29 year old on $13m either, I wouldn't have thought anyway, never know with this FO and whether we're contending or rebuilding or not.

That only really leaves getting draft picks / rookies / dumping him.

But we would need to fill his $13m to get to $90m next year anyway.

So basically we're stuck, the main hope is that some team needs to save face in a bad deal, and takes him (ahem).

Brandon Knight would be great off the bench. I also think he's played better over the last three games. Inconsistent, but better. His shooting kept us in the game last night, and while he was cold against Boston, he kept the turnovers low in that game and the previous game against the Lakers.

I think there's about a 5% chance he gets traded this summer. I'm willing to exercise some patience - I recommend others do the same. He's had injuries and he's been dealing with a lot coaching and roster turnover. He's 24. Lets chill a bit and see if he can pull his numbers up next season.

Would you do Knight & Tucker for Love in the off-season? Probably have to throw in a pick, Wash or Clev

Oh yeah! In a heartbeat! No way the Cavs do that though.

Cavs don't need Knight when they have JR Shmuck. I still like the idea of getting Love though

As in a good return. I agree btw. He can shoot the lights out at times. He is exceptionally quick and can get his shot off almost at will. The problem is his passing and shot selection. But every coach in the league has an ego and believes they can fix that in a 23 year old player.

Price, Tucker, one of Knight or Bledsoe, Teletovic and Chandler... Need to be traded off.

That team is brought in assuming Suns was with either Aldridge or a motivated Markieff Morris fighting for a playoff spot.

The suns neeed to go a different direction. Either young or new key pieces (style of play and role).

This season, apart from seeing youth action and development, has been one of the worst Ive seen...not even entertaining most nights.

I don't enjoy watching when neither Len nor Warren is on the floor. I'm always rooting for their development. I had a similar issue with the Nash Suns - always wanted one of Diaw or Amare on the court. I get excited more excited when Archie's in the game than Devin.

I think it has to do with players who have the potential to be better. Guys like Nash and Booker give you that calm, steady feeling - you just know what you have in them - greatness. I want to watch our good players become great. That's the most exciting thing for me.

I agree. I would honestly not mind seeing Booker, Len, Warren, and maybe Goodwin all back next with year with 11 new players. I have no desire to ever see any of these other players play for the Suns again. For example, people were lauding Price's effort last night. The whole time I was think are you kidding me? This guy flat out sucks. He has sucked the whole year. Who cares about some random effort for one game. Same thing with Tucker. He is awful. He has been terrible for years. His talent level is so low yet people love him and I do not get it. To me, he represents the past six years of the worst stretch of Suns basketball ever and I cannot wait till he is off the Suns.

I truly believe Booker has saved McDonough's job. No doubt. If Booker was not doing what he is doing, see ya later McDonough. Especially since McDonough's free agency moves the past two years have been a disaster. And I do not trust his vision. The whole dual point guard thing for three years is the dumbest idea in basketball and everyone knows it. Yeah let's get two undersized point guards who both want the ball and see how it works out each year. What a joke.

I don't think McD has a problem telling anyone they will have the opportunity to start.

I don't think he will trade him. Not any time soon. Not after giving up what he did for him. Especially if that pick becomes HIeld or Dunn or something this summer. I think he will keep him around and he will play 6th man (hopefully, as opposed to starting). Then maybe he trade him if things are not working or if he gets an offer at the deadline. Then, possibly trade him the next summer. Hopefully Bledsoe can stay healthy or we may not have much of a different lineup than we do right now plus Warren and a rookie.
