I was surprised to see Chile get spanked like that, but then I remembered how inconsistent Conmebol teams are

Colombia scared the crap out of me after surrendering that 2 goal lead... awful.... its good to see more players brought up and used but boy, it's just day and night to what they were from the WC...

Striker is still an issue for me... Bacca, as you know J-Mezzy, is not in my good graces despite an excellent goal.

I want a Uruguay win tomorrow! lol

What a finish to Peru-Venezuela, I thought Venezuela would've had that til that last second quality header... super goal!

The Venezuela finish killed me. I was at a Peruvian bar cause my friends are Peruvian (I'm half Venezuelan) and Venezuela played a real solid game outside of baroja imploding in the last 30 mins of the game. It was cool to see Juanpi on a big stage and he didn't disappoint. Peñaranda came in towards the end but really couldn't get into a rhythm. Heartbreaking game.

Colombia came out like a beast, aggressive attacking and do I say, cohesive play among the forwards and midfielders.... James and Cuadrado are such a pleasure for us to watch. Hope they win as much as they can. Do this every game!

Uruguay is getting more aggressive but better link up between Cavanni n Suarez.... they are gelling and with his Barca tenure, Suarez is becoming a better distributor. With that said, Tabarez needs to give them some help..... too much of a good thing is often bad for a team. We need another offensive minded player out there... This may work here and there in today's game but won't be consistent until we plug in another capable 2 way player who may be more gifted at attack

I am happy with Chile's trouncing of Venezuela, 4-1. It was good to have Vidal back with his 2 goals.

When does CONMEBAL pick up play again? Anyone know?

wow, long break. Guess everyone will be gearing up for copa America this summer.

J_Mezzy, are you going to any games? I might came to Orlando for the Brazil game now that they are selling individual tickets.

I know there's a long break till september, and also still 12 more games to go, but it would be foolish to believe either Argentina or Brazil will miss the WC and considering how tight the top 7 is, every head-to-head matchups will be key, for example round 6 has games like Ecuador vs Brasil, Argentina vs Uruguay and Paraguay vs Chile, lose and you give up quite some ground

Chile struggling in WCQ, big loss to Paraguay yesterday

Ecuador dropped the ball yesterday vs Brasil.

Colombia should have scored 7 vs Venezuela, hope goal differential doesn't hurt us later.
