This is all just bizzare for me right now.

So here's my thinking;

I am if the mind that if we win enough games, the 6 seed is ripe for the picking. Boston just got creamery last night by the clippers next they play Portland on their west coast trip.

Now, I believe we have the talent to beat the Hawks, I just don't think this team can right now and with their asshat coach it would be hack-a-dre all series long.

Now, if Atlanta loses in toronto Miami would hold the 3rd seed. If Boston loses a few more games, Atlanta just enough to get the 4 seed and we end up as the 6th and Miami the 3 rd that would be amazing.

Of all the potential matchups in a first round, that is the one that I want. The Pistons would win that series.

Don't get me wrong I don't care who the Pistons play, but the Cavs and Rap's are tall orders as are the Hawks but the Heat, or Celtics?

I think you've got to route for Indiana because it would be a HUGE loss for the Bulls. Anything that can break their spirit even more before our April 2nd game against them is a win for us. The loss would put the Bulls at 5 losses in a row with a tough game against Houston coming up in Houston before finally meeting up April 2nd. I think the Bulls could be out of it with a loss to us if they go into the game against us with a 6 game losing streak and we extend it to 7 games.

i picked chicago, only because i think they are sinking. we also "control our own destiny", in that if we keep winning it doesn't matter what chicago or washington do.

i really want to face the raps in round one because we probably don't stand a chance against cleveland. the raps are vulnerable right now, not playing too well and there's panic in raptorland because people suspect lowry might have an elbow injury. if we can pass the pacers to get the 7th seed i'd give us a 50/50 shot of winning the first round.

Bulls to lose.

We need to worry about them and the Wiz, I'm not concerned with our seeding, I just want to get in.

I missclicked, but as I said in playoffs' thread a Chicago loss would be important for the divisional record in case of tied record and 2-2 in tiebreaker with them.

Furthermore Indiana has winning tiebreaker against us and will end with more than 44 W.

No question IND. A Bulls win combined with a Pistons loss would put us only up 1.5 games with a game @CHI looming this weekend. And we'd still be down 0.5 game to IND for 7th. I'd rather have a 2+ game lead on the Bulls going into that game just to be safe. Getting 7th would be nice, but doesn't matter what seed we get as I don't expect to beat either CLE/TOR. We just need to get in, so I'll take 8th guaranteed over getting greedy for 7th and ending up not making it at all.

Indy. Its very unlikely that they'll fall behind us given their schedule, and IMO they're easily the team of the 4 that has the best chance of reaching the playoffs.

The Bulls, on the other hand, every loss makes their odds longer, and that makes our odds better. I don't really care if we get the 7th or 8th seed either, we're probably an easy out either way.

Would rather the bulls lose. Of they win and get on a streak we could struggle but if Indy gives them another loss they could sulk into the end of the season and we still have to face them. This bulls team is very bipolar.
I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Bulls are already done. They are the 10th seed and falling. Its the Wizards who are chasing the Pistons now. I'm all about chasing down the next team. I'm not looking over my shoulder. That's what losers do.

Incorrect. The Pistons would have a half game lead if they win tonight.

Detroit 40-35
Indiana 39-35

Indiana will lose games they should win as they lack the talent to close games.

Bingo. I'm not going to worry about 2 teams under .500 all of a sudden putting it together with 9 games to play, WHILE at the same time us collasping. Simply put, we control our own destiny so as long as we keep playing well we don't have to worry about what teams behind us are doing.

Right now we need to be concerned with making the playoffs not seeding. So have to root for a bulls loss tonight

I said if we didn't win and Bulls won, we'd stay 0.5 game back of Indy.

Meaning nothing would change regarding 7th, but CHI would only be 1.5 games back of 8th. Which is why we need IND to win, so that we don't have to beat OKC to keep our 2.5 game lead on 8th.

I'll take a Bulls loss, but this is a win-win no matter the outcome. If we win tonight I want Indy to lose, but if we lose tonight I'd prefer a Bulls loss.

Easier said than done when 6 of our last 8 are vs OKC, DAL, CHI, MIA, WAS, and CLE. A 2.5 game lead can change quickly against that schedule, especially when we have to play both the teams chasing us still and those games count double (triple when you factor in the tie-breaker).

Losses by CHI/WAS are still more important than the teams above us.

I'm going for Indy. We need to make the playoffs. Seeding means nothing to me, we just need to make it in.

Bulls end up winning a close one! 98-96... We have a chance to take sole possession of 7th tonight if we get the W.

i'm glad chicago won, but us winning tonight makes it a lot easier to say that lol. we're still 2.5 games ahead of chicago and a half game ahead of indiana. we still control our own destiny (we win, we're in) but now we have a better chance to avoid the cavs.

and really, the game against the bulls on saturday will play a huge part. if we win we've essentially knocked them out of the playoffs, while a loss would make it a very close finish.
