His only saving grace is that he didn't leak the video himself. However, he does need to answer as to why he took the video in the first place. If his intention wasn't to out Nick Young, then what was the motive?

He did. He uploaded it and then took it down after.

And if you've ever spent 2 seconds on the internet, you know that **** has never worked. Not one single time.

He did. He uploaded it and then took it down right after.

I must have missed that part. Damn, not a good look for him at all.
Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

All of my friends are college-educated with standard upper-middle class white collar jobs. I swear to you nearly all of them will cheat if they think they won't get caught. I've seen dudes you'd NEVER think would cheat pay $100 for a bj at a strip club when they're drunk. Go to Vegas or NYC for a conference and every. single. one. is chasing girls.

I only say that because there's so much 'pearl clutching' in this thread. OF COURSE a handsome young millionaire is cheating on his gf—I mean, come on. Even so, immature as hell to record the teammate. Just confirms my suspicion that most NBA players are functionally illiterate clowns with severely stunted maturity.

This will eventually go away though. Remember when Tony Parker **** Barry's wife?

I do remember that. Crazy.

And yet for some reason this equally offends me.

And why are people still talking about DAR getting hacked? I hope no one is actually dumb enough to believe that. He uploaded it and then tried to take it down. But like every other time this has happened on the internet, it was too late.

He snitched and exposed. And its not even like it was some random ish, he straight up entrapped Nick into talking about it.

Goddamn. The levels of ho-ness are epic. This is thermonuclear snitching.

Why wouldn't he delete the video after revealing the "joke"?? Unreal level of stupidity here by Russel.

To the people talking about Young cheating....we get it, but this is a basketball site and we're looking at it from a basketball/TEAM perspective. Young's infidelity is not a TEAM issue but secretly recording a teammate and potentially blowing up their marriage most definitely is.

This has nothing to do with Swaggy cheating. The problem is here is that Russel is a huge snitch and has lost the trust of every player in that locker room and almost all players in the NBA. Would you want to hang out with a dude who secretly tapes you and baits you into dishing out diry laundry? Yeah didn't think so.

Russell is a bitch.

Sure, Young is a **** but are they some people really trying to make D look like some kind of heroic dude ? He just filmed a teammate not him knowing... But if he really cared he would took the strangely road of... talking to the concerned persons about it

People don't really understand. People in this league throw teammates, coaches, staff, GM etc... under the bus for a yes or a no, but never oh never you hear anybody snitch on a sex/mariage/adultery related stuff. That's part of the (sport, lord I would even say men) NBA picture but that's how it is.

The only time those kind of stories breakout from the inside, is when two teammates are on the same girl and that kind of stuff.

Not the smartest move by Russell if that's the case.

If you use it in court... not if you're just being a d-bag.

Why, because you got what you deserved? Why should a person be obligated to protect a cheater? If your gonna sleep around, don't have a girlfriend / wife that isn't okay with it. Treat others as you want to be treated. Iggy was about to marry Nick Young. I'd say Russell did her a huge favor.

You couldn't fight your way out of a wet paper bag. Funny that you think cheating on your missus means to you that no one is allowed to snitch on you. In fact you deserve to be since you are obviously a coward abusing another person's trust for your own personal gain.

In Russell's neck of the woods he has nothing to gain from this, in fact he loses as well. Russell is actually a hero, sacrificing himself for the greater good. He deserves a medal.

Putting aside the definition of greater good, I don't think Russell is sacrificing JUST himself. He's clearly sacrificed team chemistry as well which makes him less of a hero.

Does anyone else feel like D'Angelo doesn't want to, and for that matter, never wanted to be in LA?

The entire is team isn't f*cking with him after this incident though. The coaches have to be furious. Other players in the league more than likely wouldn't want anything to do with D'uploading either. Whatever big free agents the Lakers were going to target in the off season can forget about it now. No matter who's right or wrong in this, you can't break the locker room code

Seriously? You've just turned Russell into a superhero for committed relationships; he's not Doctor Love. I'm not saying what P did was 'right' but his sex life is none of Russell's business.

The bigger slap to the organization is the fact he SOLD the footage to sports media. Well, I guess P's sex life was Russell's business afterall....

It's the LA Lakers. There is no team chemistry.

Oh man not our great Laker chemistry! We are really coveting this 15-59 record from our great team chemistry.

great friends!

As I said, only if they know they won't get caught. Majority of married men aren't in situations where 1) they have it thrown at them and 2) it's an environment that won't get back to their missus. Drunk...out of town...nobody around that will snitch...not much effort...most are going to fool around.

Like Chris Rock said, men are only as faithful as their options. Easy to pretend to be morally superior if you can't get laid.

how do you defend someone taking video of someone without their consent and then baiting them on to incriminate themselves. Thats low on so many levels. He probably wanted to blackmail him

Are we sure he sent it to news outlets? If he put it up on social media for even a minute someone could have saved it and then sold it to them. I can't see why he would sell a video of a teammate to media for a quick buck when he's now making millions in the NBA unless he really is that stupid.
