A terrible call from Lauren Holgcamp, bailing DeRozen out at the end of the shotclock, is what ended our 15-0 run, and starting Toronto's 6-0. Refs were never gonna let us have this one.

Yeah, he must have just rode the hot hand. Still, Hinrich over Teague at the very least was not smart. If anything Teague and Horford should have been in over Hinrich and Moose.

Muscala was the catalyst as to why the game even became competitive in the end, this from a Toronto POV. He was extremely mobile defensively moving his feet and contesting shots (3 key blocks), he pushed the ball at every opportunity which lead to him assisting on a couple huge three pointers he created for teammates and on top of that he efficiently knocked down his own long range shots, if anything he deserved more PT based on his effort alone.

Lakers just beat the Heat. Huge break for the Hawks.

Good game guys. Even though we've swept the season series, if we end up playing in the second round, you're better off thinking you won the season series. The flow of our offense is way too contingent on Terrence Ross making his long jumpers or Kyle Lowry going god mode. Ross has consistently failed to show up in the playoffs the past two years, and Lowry has a bad elbow that's causing him to shoot like he's Rubio. On top of that we're one of the worst teams at defending the 3 point line. That push you guys made in the 4th quarter was a perfect reminder of how we can be beaten.

Don't want to say you'll automatically win, but I can't say with confidence that we will.

There's something flukey about our wins against the Hawks this season, much like the Bulls against us. DeRozan finally has his first efficient volume scoring night in god knows how long, and Valanciunas somehow managed to protect the ball in the post and score time and time again tonight. He's prone to losing the ball when he's crowded in the post.

You must be trying to reverse jinx, as with Atlanta sports teams, what you see during the regular season, will happen in the playoffs against the same team unless they have some things hidden up their sleeve. Nothing will change the fact that Lowry owns Teague’s soul most of the time, this team has nobody that can check DeRozan, and Horford can’t check 7 footers in one on one.
Unless Atlanta has a lot hidden up their sleeve for Toronto, this is Orlando 2010 part two waiting to happen if Atlanta stays in third and will be eye opening in a terrible way that may get changes made.
