You are (perhaps) to Cousins as I am to John Wall.

I have very similar views on both Wall and Cousins. In many ways, Cousins is the big man version of Wall. Both have HUGE talent. Both have HUGE potential. Both undercut their positives with poor shot selection, sub par shooting and turnovers.

I would like the two to be on the same team.

Kings or Wizards...
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

True Cousin could be better but his supporting cast is without a doubt below average. I suppose we could say something similar about the Wizards.

I wrote about "supporting casts" a couple weeks ago at the blog. The Kings ranked 12th in quality of "supporting cast" (though Rondo was the team's most productive in terms of total -- recall that Cousins missed time with injury); the Wizards ranked 14th. Both teams rated right about league average for supporting cast (using minutes weighted PPA with the top player's contributions removed). I'll probably run the numbers again when the season ends. Since I won't be analyzing how the Wizards are doing in the playoffs, I should have time.

The Kings are 28-35 with Cousins and only 2-10 without him- although maybe the Kings were missing some other guys as well when Cousins was out.
