We're playing IT/Bradley/Smart/Turner/X lineups...

Sullinger and Olynyk need more minutes. Our guards and wings get so much more playing time than our bigs. Besides IT, I think Sullinger and Olynyk can be just as productive if not more productive than our guard/wing rotation if given the minutes. They've just rarely been afforded those opportunities.

It's probably because Sully and Amir can't play huge minutes consistently, one is a health concern and the other conditioning. I don't know about KO's minutes all season tbh, surely tonight it was b/c he was poop (7ft with no rb? :o ), but he has deserved more all season. Our guards/sfs get more minutes because they can handle it and they have been carrying us all season.

Was at the game and sat a couple rows behind a guy with a "Bradley SR" jersey on. Blakely came up and chatted with him on air, so pretty sure it was AB's dad and family down from Tacoma. Luckily we had a good green section around them! Great game by Avery, and really, the shots Aminu got were what you give up for focusing on Lillard\McCollumn so much. If we'd hit free throws or Aminu didn't have the game of his life, this would be a win.

Green89 had it right on those turnovers and friggin Gerald Henderson. He always seems to kill us. Think his dad would have taught him to respect the green!

Had a busy night at work and didn't see this one, so I'm probably in a less bad mood than you all who had to watch it. So, a couple of positives:

- Jae played 35 minutes. I have to imagine they wouldn't have let him do that if there was huge risk. I'm sure he's not 100%, but that tells me he's probably doing okay.
- As others have pointed out, we held Lillard and McCollum to 31 on 35 shots. Criticize the individual parts all you want, but, as a unit, our guards show respectably more often than not.

We just need some bigs, man. Somehow, some way. We're 11 games over .500 with no starting bigs (all due respect to Amir, but consistency is a factor). Plug those holes with even Crowder/Bradley-level players, and the machine will hum a lot more smoothly.

I think 3 more minutes for Sully a game, 2 more for Amir, and 7-10 more KO would balance the rotation a lot better and not leave us so ridiculously small all the time. Sully averages slightly more assists than AB in 9 less mpg.

How did +/- gods Olynyk and Smart each have a -23?

The last 3 points can be explained because they each entered the game for the last few desperation seconds. But how did the first 20 come about?

Give it up for Avery's defense though

Great defense by AB, respect.

Good game in general, if IT would have his normal game we would win it...a lot of close misses.

1-3 rotation is very good...big man as the season showed are problematic.

Saw some of the game before I got just too tired and the team was starting to look it slip away. Ugh, tonight might get ugly. Maybe the Warriors underestimate them?

Handing back rebounds again and again on the defensive boards are so frustrating .... SECURE the ball!

I happen to be awake when Crowder hit that go ahead three. Then it was just downhill from there.

Turner, Sully and Johnson shot well but no one else did. Expected loss so I am not upset.

Starting AND bench. Jerebko sucks, Olynyk had like 8 points in the 1st quarter and if I look at the box score right now I bet that's what he finished the game with. A good old disappearing act as usual..and then people complain when we call him the next Jeff Green. :nonono:

You know I've been hard on Olynyk lately, especially his rebounding. But I got to give him his props tonight. He was a monster on the glass tonight. Oh wait. He had 0 rebounds in 17 minutes. Let me repeat that. Olynyk had 0 rebounds in 17 minutes. This is a 7 footer.

i thought I was going crazy in the game thread when I mentioned it, no one was talking about it much until the one he stood and watch go by in the 4th. you can't be 7ft and not get 1 rebound in a game. Hell you're so tall that the ball will automatically find you at least once, like it literally sees you and thinks to itself "let me drop into the hands of the tallest guy on the court, just a friendly hello!" and boom, a rebound!

Unfortunately, I've pointed out in many prior game threads how KO just watches as rebounds that are clearly within his reach, go sailing over his head. :nonono:

What defense ? Lately we're giving up more than 100 points every night . This team is going nowhere in the playoffs. This roster has to be completely overhauled

Variance of +/- in one game samples. Thought both of them played pretty well. Did some inverted offense on a few plays with Jerebko/Olynyk on the perimeter and Smart getting to some great areas in the post. Curious to see more of that.

Aminu went nuts on us....and Gerald Henderson is a serious Celtic killer too....Did he miss even one shot in that 3rd quarter?

We could save ourselves a couple of losses per year by picking up this guy....His father was streaky good like that too...

The reaction to this loss is kinda crazy. Portland is only a few games worse than us and we were playing on their home court. We held there top two Guys to bad nights and other players on Portland stepped up, amino with a career game, and won them the game. **** happens. Aminu can't repeat that performance but sometimes the other team gets lucky.

We are on pace for 47-48 wins with Amir, Zeller and Jerebko playing 49 mpg combined.

Amir is genuinely good. Getting weird that people still don't see how much he helps. Jerebko's useful as well, though he has some bad ones mixed in there.

A lot of overreactions after these losses. You just have to get used to the usuals. We played a good game. That is why it is called a home court advantage. When Portland made their run in the 3rd, the crowd really got into the game and it obviously gave them a big lift. Aminu and Henderson started playing with a lot of confidence and made big shots. Nothing more, nothing less. Next game.

I predicted we would win 46-50 games this year. That was with the thinking that we would make a deadline trade to upgrade the team. Ainge made an effort but nothing got done.

I expect another first round exit this season. We just don't have the horses. Next year we will make a huge leap. Finger crossed.

The air almost never comes out of a team because there were no trades.

It's almost always because trades happened.
