Suns discussion on Trade Forum
I noticed quite a few threads on the Trade and Transactions forums today, and I thought it would be good for people to chime in with their thoughts there.
I do want to remind people that there are fans from all teams there so when you post responses to potential threads, try to think of their team perspective and the potentially limited knowledge they have of ours, and be respectful, because things can potentially get out of hand if every fan is overvaluing their own guys and undervaluing ours (to some extent this will always happen because we watch our guys and don't watch others as often, though so many are low on our guys maybe in most cases that won't happen).
But there are at least four threads there discussing the Suns, either in a possible trade idea, but the main reason I post this now is because there are two dedicated threads to what the Suns should do in the offseason from people who don't watch the Suns as closely as we all do, so please don't blast them and try to give them our perspective in a respectful way, but it is a good way to engage in other places with other fans wondering what our thoughts are in addition to other team's fans thoughts may be.

There are others but I encourage people to chime in on the first two threads, and they are down further on the first page, but if one responds, it will move up.
Just another way for us to have some discussion in this horrid season where we still have almost three months until the draft.

Tbh some of the behavior by Suns' fans on the T&T has been embarrassing. I think a select few need to take a break from it. Lol at some of the Booker trades though.

How dare you only limit Booker's ceiling to being an All-Star on a contender? He will obviously be the GOAT SG, Top 5 historically at the very least. These Reggie Miller comparisons are an insult to him

Funny thing is I just made almost the exact same post elsewhere...also in green.

You need reading comprehension classes but with your posting style maybe they are still planned for the future.
You also seem to fail to understand what the words "ceiling" or "potential" actually mean.
The fact that you are passive-agressively attacking fellow posters without understanding what was said speaks a lot about you.
What was said is that
- it wouldnt be surprising if Booker had a better career than Reggie Miller (5x allstar, 3 3rd teams, 2 21+ Ppg seasons) this came after a post from someone who said it was absolutely ridiculous to think that Booker could be as good as Miller
- nowhere did anyone say that Miller comparisons are an insult, what was said is that Miller is not a good comparison stylistically
- nobody complained about ppl saying his ceiling is allstar on a contender, though it indicates that you have no understanding of what ceiling actually means, what was said is that it is trolling to put bust, linsanity or starter on lottery team as options in a poll asking about the potential of 19yr old Booker who already is more than that
Bookers rookie season for a 19 year old puts him in historic company offensively with perennial MVP candidates, at the combine he posted the best shuttle sprint time and the best lane agility time, his lane agility time was the 3rd best in the last 10 years.
Give me one reason why there should be a limit on Bookers ceiling or potential instead of your trash response.

You often make very good points and arguments, but there is no need for attacking people's reading comprehension or whatever else. I cannot really understand why almost every one of your posts is trying to put someone down for their opinions. We all have opinions, and you may be right about Booker...I feel like he will be a stud too and won't put a limit on his upside, but zero need to be a complete ass about it with every post.

I think the answer is pretty clear and this is not the first instance.

Green font means sarcasm since you don't seem to understand. Perhaps to other fans we are overrating Booker. We don't need to call them out for not sharing our opinions.
You may defend yourself but you also do so while putting down others. Don't do that if you want to post here. All it might do is piss people off. I understand you might normally be pissed off, and as a Suns fan that is understandable, but being a dick to other posters isn't going to be tolerated. This forum is lenient, so I am hoping you can stop with the "you must not have reading comprehension" posts. It would be similar to me saying "you don't know how to spell America" which probably doesn't make sense because I'm sure you created that username for whatever reason. It's just high school-ish, and we prefer people act like adults here.

Re: Suns discussion on Trade Forum
^Agreed, don't gotta be a complete dick.
I drink plenty from the Devin Booker Kool Aid and would agree that it wouldn't really surprise me to see Booker have the same career accolades as Reggie Miller. I already feel like Booker is on the cusp of being a top 10 SG in the league.
So long are the days of having Kobe, Wade, T-Mac, Vinsanity, Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Jason Richardson, Michael Redd, Manu Ginobli, Rip Hamilton, Brandon Roy all play in the same season. Right now I'd say... James Harden, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, Middleton, Wade, DeRozan, Beal, McCollum, Hood, and maybe Redick, Oladipo are better SG's than Booker (right now). The league just doesn't have the crop of SG's that it used to.
Booker will eventually be a top 5 SG in the league, and eventually top 3.

I know what green font means here, I am posting here since 2002, had an account with thousand posts and an offfer from Howard Mass to write content on the Suns and moderate the Suns forum.
Sarcasm is no excuse, you can wrap an attack in sarcasm which the poster clearly did. Not sure why you are the one trying to make excuses for that.
Not only is it insulting, he also twisted my words to change the meaning before trying to make it sound ridiculous.

This type of post followed by the green font sarcasm post is an insult and violation of message board etiquette and what you should be looking at.

This unnecessary drama and offense being taken out of nowhere is unhealthy, and just plain boring.

Yeah, I guess he's gone and was an old poster with the name "Donald Trade" or something like that. Anyone remember him?

There's an AZ sports fan forum with but I think so. The suns subreddit is a toxic echo chamber admined by petulant manchildren.
