I have only got to see Hill Pitch one time this year. I was just curious how the guy is only 5-5 with a pretty dang good era. Is it just no run support, does he give up a big inning, or what is it. Just curious

He needs to throw more fastballs and less breaking balls.

The good news is Rich did bad and he can learn from this experience and we still got the win.

his stuff overall wasn't all that bad... a few bounces here or there and he only gives up two runs in the first and gives us maybe 5 innings... but that didn't happen and thank god for the bullpen

his breaker was good, just wasnt always for strikes, couldnt get the fastball to hit its spots.

problem with hill is that hes either a beast or hes a little leaguer.

I am telling you guys his breaking ball isn't that great. He threw a breaking ball on a 1-2 count to Young and he hit a grand slam.
Hill needs to keep using his fastball.
