The really strange part is that if you remove Reggie's name when he talks about celebrating, you would think he's describing Westbrook.

Durant's always been fake humble. His PR team does wonders for his image

I was just thinking the same thing. He usually says all the right things, but RJ and Detroit get under his skin. I can't wait untill we play them again. I might regret saying that, but we will have one more year experince for the youngins

hope its at the Palace and we boo the sh* out of him.

I find it pretty interesting that Jackson has yet to say anything back. At least not to my knowledge.

Why would or should he? He has his team now.

Hey, @KDTrey5, you can count on one hand reasons people care about Detroit, but three of those fingers have championship rings on them

He never said anything after the first game this season, despite pot shots by RW and KD.

Love that!

And yeah - up until Durant made that comment about Detroit I was with him.

Not too bright of ol' Kev.

was just thinking this. OKC is literally the same team as it has been the past 7 years. When are they going to learn KD+RW surrounded by supporting cast memebers does not equal championships

I response KD on Twitter:

@KDTrey5 who cares about you? It was all about LeBron last years and all about Curry now, you have been the best NBA player for..3 months?

I remember when the Mark Price Cleveland Cavaliers where dubbed the team of the future. And then the Pistons ascended and smacked the league in the mouth to the tune of three finals appears and two 'ships (which should have been three if the refs didn't call that phantom foul on Laimbeer in game 6 of the Isiah Thomas ankle injury game).

That Cavs team never became the team of the future. This OKC team is another failed offseason away from rebuild. Durant needs to take his butthurt self to a new team (Clips, Warriors, or wherever). He can't win on his on and he hasn't been able to win with help. I hope the franchise takes this disrespect to heart and takes it out on the league.

I really have a feeling he ends up in Washington.

I'm hearing he doesn't want the drama of dealing with friends from home and the demand it would put on him. I have heard NY (brand building and opportunity to play with the Unicorn), LA (Clips a point guard that passes), LA (Lakers taking the torch and keeping a seat warm for Russ), GSW (riding with Steph & 'em), and now the Spurs (nuff said). Wherever he goes I hope Detroit kicks him in the teeth.

Did you hear what Stanley Johnson said back to Kevin Durant? He was like we're not afraid to play against you.

Of course he did! That's Stanimal all over.

Respect doesnt = fear or friendship. Any player worth a dime should want to go toe to toe with the best in the business
