So that's it. Not marshmallow cream. Not butterscotch. Caramel is the secret ingredient of TSW. Now we know.

On another note, women who mud wrestle. How degrading that would seem to me. But what the heck do I know?

A Bulls win tonight (at home) and we are back in it. Add a miracle in Philly and I like our chances.

Not sure if serious.

A Bulls win tonight might make things theoretically possible, but I certainly wouldn't say I like our chances. Let's assume that Chicago wins against Detroit and we beat Detroit in our remaining matchup. Here would be each team's record and remaining schedule. (Note I'm omitting the WAS/DET game because I'm already assuming a Washington victory):

Washington 38-39
@ LAC
v BRK
v CHA
@ BRK
v ATL

Detroit 40-38
@ MIA
@ ORL
v MIA
@ CLE

Chicago 39-37
@ MIL
@ MEM
@ MIA
v CLE
@ NOR
v PHI

Scenario 1: We win all of our remaining games. We would just need Detroit to lose of their remaining 4 and Chicago to lose 2 of their remaining 6. I think that's likely. If we win out, we're likely to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, we're not going to win out because we suck. I place the odds of this at 1%.

Scenario 2: We lose just one more game. We would need Detroit to lose 2 of their remaining 4 and Chicago to lose 3 of their remaining 6. I think this is probably the most plausible scenario that results in us making the playoffs. I figure the odds are about 5%, mostly because I think we'll lose more than just 1 more game.

Scenario 3: We lose two more games, and/or we lose to Detroit. That pretty much clinches us missing the playoffs. There's no way we can count on Detroit losing 3 of their last 4 while Chicago loses 4 of their last 7.

Scenario 4: We lose three more games. This is the likely scenario. I don't think we'll even be close to making the playoffs. The team is in disarray and can only seem to defeat horrible teams like Phoenix and LA.

That seems plausible. But I just don't see any way we win out from here. We're sure to lose at least 1 more, which means Detroit must lose 2 and Chicago must lose 3. That's probably the most likely scenario that results in us making the playoffs. I don't have much faith in that either though. I think the likelihood is much higher that we lose at least 2 more games, and probably 3. We'll lose to LAC and Atlanta and to one of Detroit or Charlotte

I would only go from "back in it" to "liking our chances" if Indy also lost to Philly.

If the Spurs had decided to forfeit all 38 of their road games so far this season, they would still have a better record than the Wizards.
