Pretty excited for this game, mainly the Kemba v kyrie matchup. Other things to keep an eye on , will big al completely capsize CHA's defense when he enters , a la last game? A couple of bad pnr defensive possessions from him , followed by black hole post ups could easily put the other team on a 8-0 run.
I watch pretty much every NBA team a ton and al Jefferson is the slowest big man I've seen. Maybe Villanueva is in his lesgue but that's it. Him turning into molasses on the hardwood not only affects CHA transition game, he often labors to set multiple good screens on offense. I still believe hawes would be more of a net positive on the second unit because of his shooting and passing ; he spaces the floor as opposed to clogging the lane.

that's the worst nightmare of Hornets... the king of all kings returns to the starting lineup, he and Tristan will PnR Hornets bigs to death and he will lock in on Kemba... on the other side, no Kyrie and Love on the court at the same time means not much for Hornets to take advantage of... the Hornets need a miracle to pull this one off... bad, bad

Hi Clutchie, I love you...

We traditionally haven't played overly well in these mid afternoon type games.
That's a bothersome thought.

I seem to remember the whole team just didn't seem ready to play. Shots off, timing off, energy not quite there for both units. I hope it is different this afternoon.

Whats the deal with Hawes anyway. Is he just out of the rotation? I fear Kaminsky may be by the time the playoffs start, but he needs the experience. I predict Frank will have a big leap from year 1 to year 2.

Oh no, they might be a better team with no Kyrie, hope Mo Will is real rusty. Gotta keep attacking Love. (Al would have been good there)
It's their 3rd games in 4th nights tho, so they should be tired, especially without Kyrie.

He was out with a back injury, seems like it's still bothering him.
