With Blake Griffin back, he has to find that right balance between the stoic Tim Duncan and the tough and crazy Charles Barkley. More Duncan, less Barkley to be precise. His lack of a temper detector could have knocked his entire team out of the playoffs and a forced rebuild. Now he has a chance to make everything right, but at a catch: he'll have to live with a torn quad for the rest of the season. The only way he can be 100% healthy again is if he can help get the Clippers past the 2nd round by defeating the almighty Golden State Warriors. It will be the greatest moment to define his career, if he can do it. Remember: point guard driven teams always lose in the playoffs. Big men with post play is what's needed to go deep.
In the meantime, let's bask in the return of the Clipper's home grown chosen one.
