Didn't know the Celtics are playing the Hornets Hawks and Heat to end the season. Talk about controlling your destiny.

Refs were awful in this game. Especially #49. He looked upset whenever he had to make a call in Bostons way .. But had super energy and emotion making a call for LA.

It looked like a cut and blood... Hopefully nothing related to his eyes
They said there was no blood and from IT's reaction it didn't look good.
Oh ****... I am watching the Lakers feed and they mentioned a cut... Maybe someone can shed some more light...

Tyler Zeller led the team in +/-.

Was Mickey sick and not even with the team? Unfortunate, would have loved to see him get some run against a trash team. Maybe against Milwaukee.

Those guys beat the Celtics in Boston earlier this year.
Their roster isn't that good, neither is ours. If their coach is coaching our team, we win about 25 games.

Didn't they beat the hell out of GS a couple weeks ago? They also beat Miami a couple days ago. They do win against some decent teams when they play to win. It's not like they are the Sixers. There's good young talent on that team. The only problem there is Kobe taking 30 shots to please the crowd. If this is an organized team wanting wins they go down to Randle at the end of this game instead of having Kobe launch 3's like he's Steph Curry and he probably eats us up. Dude had 20 points, 10 rebounds on 7/11 shooting and not a single play was ran for him the entire night.
♣ WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ♣ THANK YOU TRUTH! ♣

Re: Celtics (44-32) @ Lakers (16-59)
Just 3 things...I'm not as talented as Gant...
1. It's not easy as it looks to win in professional sports, so I'm ALWAYS going to appreciate when my team pulls out the victory.
2. This team, while having spots of talent on the roster, is NOT GOOD ENOUGH to waltz on the court and beat a team. Their wins have to be won through effort first among anything. It's the primary reason why Brad Stevens gets respect from the media and colleagues.
3. A go-to player outside of Thomas is strongly pressing. Ideally, I want to keep two-way players like Crowder and Bradley unless you can upgrade them significantly and have a PF or C be the next go-to player while keeping someone like Amir or hopefully a more developed/ready Jordan Mickey.

Laker fans are something else . Calls the Celtics garage, but what has your team done since 2011. Absolutely nothing . The Celtics have a brighter future than the Lakers, and it's not even close .They have Cap space , Good players that play hard for one another, Good Management & a Good coach . At least we have made the playoffs the past two seasons, while the Lakers have missed the playoffs. All they're missing is that star player, they will get him eventually .

Guys, the times are different and our teams are not those from the past, but one thing did not change, which is your gamethreads when we play.
Good luck in the playoffs! Your only hope is IT. Cheers!

Cheers and Good luck in the lottery! A 55% chance of keeping your first-round pick is pretty good considering you don't have one most years.

Can't say it wasn't a fun to see a bit of vintage Kobe one more time (although I would have enjoyed a blowout a lot more

The games against the Lakers are always special. I **** miss the Bird v Magic rivalry. I remember those times like it was yesterday. The 1984 Finals are my personal favorite.

It wasn't fun.
Curry has better footwork and moves.

Well tiny bit. Not going to go as far as say I liked Kobe as a person, but, there was some fun battles during that big 4 era. Kobe's moves in the post were impressive as hell. I will look forward to hopefully less of the Lakers on primetime without Kobe (until they're good again) but, not gonna hold my breathe.
