Not saying he's ready for the NBA, but I wouldn't hate using a late first, buy a second round pick on his potential. He hasn't developed as much as everyone has been hoping, but he's still a fluid 7'1 athlete with a nice looking, albeit streaky jumpshot.

I don't think it's outside of the realm of possibility since he was trying to join a team mid season this past season and it didn't work out. I'd imagine he'd go overseas for a season if he's not eligible.

Pass. He's not even close to being ready. I'm not impressed at all. He will be lucky to go second round.

We not getting him but he'll prolly go top 10, he's grown to 7'1 and has talent.

I'd take him with OKC pick.

DX put him on the board at #44.

I think he'll be a first rounder, mid to late. Unless he kills it (or gets killed) at the combine and in individual workouts.

As of right now, if he was there at the Thunder pick, I'd have to take him.

I'll just say this, I'd take him any day over Skal in this draft. He's caught a lot of grief in recent years, but I'd rather a fluid 7'1 player that's willing to compete over someone who is a complete coward when it comes to contact.

Thon plays like they might send him back to South Sudan. His shot isn't terrible either. Let him take his bumps in the NBDL and hopefully he turns into something special.

Thon should be smart and go to college because he's not ready for this but I imagine the minder wants to get some money back on his investment.

He's no going top ten. Stop. He won't even go first round. He's not even close to contributing.

Thon is a product of hype. " Dribbles like Kyrie, shoots like KD and is 7'1". Has potential but has to grasp it.

Someone will probably take a flyer on him in the late first round. Hell, the Sixers would be as good a bet as any.

If he is there at the OKC pick is there going to be anyone else that would be an obvious better prospect?

I don't think he's top 10, but I would be willing to bet he's a first rounder.

Look, if Skal is going to be drafted in the top 15/20 (which I highly doubt, but it's being projected), then he's a 1st rounder. He has the size and length. He's actually bulked up in recent months.

Hmm.. what assets do we have on surplus that we undervalue..

Sixers is one of those teams that can always wait for a player like Thon Maker. Heard he's more of an off the bench-energy player than is he close to being a starter (not star but starter).

yeah, if he's there at OKC pick we take him no question... depending on how the first part of the draft plays out, I might even take him at MIA pick.

I guess I'd have to bring it full circle and draft Thon with my winnings.

Rank the ff:
1.) Skal
2.) Thon Maker
3.) Richaun Holmes

My guess both picks are for wings (3&D prospects).

As players today, Holmes is probably better than the other guys.

My feelings on Thon or Skal is that they are mega talents that have high bust risk. Wouldn't feel comfortable taking either in the top ten or so, but they would both be great value picks later in the first round.

Unless someone unexpected falls to the Heat pick, I'd be fine taking a shot on one of these guys.
