He's basically eating everyone alive no matter how big they are and inching closer to the basket with every dribble.
Hassan's 265 right now and Bynum was 285. Drummond is 280 and is doing pretty well for himself when it comes to inching closer to the basket too. I feel like Whiteside in the post relies on his spin for seperation and his wingspan, while Drummond primarily uses his body. Drummond gets them off balance when he puts that shoulder into them a couple times. Should Hassan put on a little more weight so he can rely on his body more in the post? That 1 dribble spin can be predictable sometimes, but there's nothing you can do if he was a little bigger and just knocking the defender back little by little. He already has the potential to be a better version of Bynum since he's a better shooter but I think if he adds that weight (10-15 more pounds), it's a wrap. That spin he likes would be even more deadly since the defender will be off balance and further away when he starts to go up.
I honestly think Hassan might be too heavy as he currently is. His main asset is his length and explosion. He has a terrifying ability to cross the entire painted area and block a shot on the opposite side of the court from where his man is. It's that, that should be worked on and perfected.
Hassan was like 215lbs when he entered the league so he's naturally not a beefy guy, he's already put on a ton of weight I think adding more would just further worsen his stamina and hurt his mobility.
