Marcelo the diver at Wolfsburg.
Luiz the diver at Paris.

Madrid have been shocking, only Bale's provided any kind of service

Wolfsburg have been solid though. Well organised and fairly effective on the counter, save for some poor finishing.

Solid performance from City, I must say.

So happy for Maxi Arnold. Last DDR-born stud we'll ever see...and the best option our NT has at LB, if Jogi's replacement has the insight to try him there.

I guess CL has come to an end....

I hold Z accountable for not using James and Isco to start with considering the grueling match the other players had endured just days before.

Bad defense again.... Unbelievable how the marking has gone downhill as well as IQ....

I felt some of my guys got fouled with the regular no calls from the ref but whatever... can someone tell me that penalty that awarded the PK was legit? I missed it live and saw one replay with an angle not selling me on it. So I can't be sure yet one way or another...

Wolfsburg played well and fast... a bad ingredient against that backend...

It's not over yet but I would think after beating us over the weekend in a tough game you guys would come to play.

City did well considering the injuries they have. If they can get Toure, Sterling, Kompany and Hart ready to go then they have a great chance of making it through.

Z is not giving me the tactical faith he will do so... today was a game to bring on James and Isco... no need for Casemiro who was irrelevant to begin with... Benzama is like hurt every game and its apparent, who are the French connection trying to fool?

I can't have the highest of faiths... down 2 back home, a 50/50 offense with a poor defense.... not a good recipe... not liking the body language at all for me.

You'll still thump them by 4 or more at the Bernabeau.

Doesnt this remind a little bit of Porto - Bayern last year. That was in the QF as well. We all remember what happened in the return leg.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Lets not kid ourselves. Real is still the favourite to go through. Especially since Wolfsburg have been putrid away from home this season. Second to last in Bundesliga only ahead of Frankfurt.

That goal that city gave away when they were passing is the kind of **** that happens in the mls.
