I figured Hinkie was gone, so even though it p****s me off, I'll get over it.

Speaking for myself, I will give them the draft and FA and see what they do. I highly doubt Bryan f*****g Colangelo will impress me.

Expecting to be a Hawks fan by next September.

I just had that thought too.
God, I don't want to be a Hawks fan.

I respect hinkie, man. Few would have the stomach to stick to a plan that brings about ultimate shame and public ridicule in hopes of reaching success. It sucks that he gets the boot now that his process is moving to the next phase aka embeid and saric may be on the way and the team plans on aggressively pursuing young free agents. I don’t understand why so many people in the media bash a guy for sacrificing maybe 10-15 wins by outwardly tanking. They were going to suck anyway. Yall can thank him for having maybe the best low post scorer since shaq, a potential two way monster in embied, and either a poor mans kd or a poor mans lbj after the draft. He seems like a smart dude and morey should bring him back on board in Houston.

There was something romantic about tearing down a mediocre team, starting from scratch, and building up together with a young, innovative GM. We have been robbed of that regardless of who is hired. Hinkie never even got a chance to land the plane because of public perception. That is the sucky part. You can't get cold feet after you've made a commitment to sell fans a garbage product for the sake of future gain. I sat through 10 wins this year because I knew the future was bright.

I don't know that anymore. And it sucks.

I honestly feel like this team has wasted enough of my years. Got scared to land the plane bc of peoples opinions who don't give an f about the team anyways. Colangelo and Ferry gonna sell all these assets and spend all our money on middling talent. I'll go choose a smarter organization at this point.

Excerpt from 13 page resignation letter.

"There has been much criticism of our approach. There will be more. A competitive league like the NBA necessitates a zig while our competitors comfortably zag. We often chose not to defend ourselves against much of the criticism, largely in an effort to stay true to the ideal of having the longest view in the room.

"... Given all the changes to our organization, I no longer have the confidence that I can make good decisions on behalf of investors in the Sixers -- you. So I should step down. And I have."

**** this. I didn't watch the team this year cause we were playing some awful ball but I could see the light at the end of the tunnel and was really looking forward to seeing what we did in the draft, free agency and of course with Embiid.

Now, **** it all. **** everything.

Yeah the only thing it doesn't show is how much he payed these stiffs. Like Kleiza no problem signing him for the min right? Wrong four years 20 million.

Landry Fields three years 20 million

Traded for Hedo in a sign and trade. Five years $53 million. Look up his stats.

Traded for the corpse of Peja.

Traded TJ Ford, Roy Hibbert (rookie) & Rasho Nesterovic for Jermaine Oneal.

Call out the owners for being full of ****.

He made his final cut for the Sixers, himself. Fitting and almost poetic.
