Most of the teams that are downtrodden are looking for a lottery pick, but I think it's safe to say that Magic fans are tired of the lottery, even though they've drafted some fine players. In any case, here is where they are relative to the other teams in the Tankathon:

It's hard to imagine why Orlando should play to win, when there is no benefit, but they only have two more games at home, and we are their rivals (according to them, not us). They have a winning record at home, 21-18, and an away record that is 7th worst in the league. The point is they don't like to suck at home, and this was true even during the tank years. This year they are supposed to be improved, but how improved are they? They already have 8 more wins than last year, but they are destined to finish 5th again in the division (for the 4th straight year), and at 33-45 with 4 games to play they can finish from 6th to 11th from the bottom.
