This is exactly what I was thinking at around halftime, last night. DeRozen easily had his worst game of the season against us (arguably his worst game of the season overall). The minor Bazemore injury/rest (think he would've played had it been a playoff game) might've ended up being a blessing in disguise as it helped us solve the DeRozen puzzle. Now, I just hope that Bud saw it this way, and does indeed start Thabo if we meet Toronto down the line.

[Atlanta] came out and played like it meant more to them than it did to us early. We played like, ‘OK, we got the second (quarter),’ and again, you cannot approach games that way.

They came out aggressive on both ends. A team that’s fighting for something and a team that we beat three times — I’m pretty sure that they didn’t want to make it a fourth — so they came out ultra-aggressive.
