I can't imagine Cyle Larin in MLS next season, he's just too good.

Orlando is going to make a pretty penny off him in the off season.

Big time call out to Redding and Seb Hines, who were both terrific in the box.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Great effort. Higuita was the star of the game other than Larin.

Higuita is such a good find. Guy does all that's needed out of his position. Great midfielder for us.

Larin of course has a massive future

So looks like we are signing a veteran, Julio Baptista. Is this guy still good? Does he have anything in the tank left?

Basically, he didn't play any game in 2015 and I believe it makes a huge difference for a player almost 35 years old, so I wouldn't expect big things from him.

It will be nice to have the captain back. I would love to see Molino get his first against Portland.

Seb Hines put Orlando City up 1-0 on Portland, with a header.

Amazing performance by Kaka. He had his best game since he came to Orlando. Great to see Shea finally score and a huge thing for Molino to get that first MLS goal and get on the board. Big confidence builder for him. Dominant performance and a great win. We take down another MLS champ.

I only watched the last 20 mins of this game so they may have explained it but what was with the confetti on the field?

Confetti cannons when the Lions score. There was a lot of scoring hence the abundance of glittery confetti. The wind kicks it up into the light and it blows around all night and looks awesome. I would think the other teams would hate it

Great win. The atmosphere is amazing at the stadium. Good to see us off to a good start. This year we HAVE to make the playoffs

I love it because I think its demoralizing to the other team seeing that confetti all over the place. I can see how to the other team that can be annoying but who cares they should have stopped them from scoring.

I can't imagine the team opening a new stadium without arguably their best player.

Speaking of the new stadium on the FS1 broadcast they mentioned our turf being the worst surface in MLS. For a new stadium (citrus bowl) that's a disappointment. Thankfully the club will have grass next year.

Our turf is a joke. A disgrace to our captain but I've never heard them complain. We will have a fine surface next season and it wont come soon enough.

Cyle is a quiet guy but cool and very nice. Had a chance to say hey last night after the game. He was moving around a little slow after leaving early with injury. It's been a pretty rough start to the season for him physically but he's been exceptional.

I'll say again, we are damn lucky to have Kaka'. He's pure class in every way.

...and viva Molino.

And damn Brek, are you trying to break stuff. Prettiest goal of the season and maybe ever for us...well in a game that mattered anyway.

I'm curious to know what coach was thinking about tonight. Nocerino is a dick and he **** sucks.
