We're in the playoffs for the first time in forever! We only have one thank you card. To whom do we send it?

Have to give it to SVG...he came in as the first great coach we have had since Larry, and built a great infrastructure in the FO. He got Gores to buy in to his plan and give him whatever resources and patience he needed. Who knows where we would be without SVG.

The Bowers option is pretty funny though, and by the thefts he's pulled off it's almost believable lol.

Hired SVG and let him do what he felt was necessary.

Consider that Stan had been out of the league for a bit, had "clashed" with Dwight in Orlando, was fired in Miami, Shaq not a fan of SVG...

To hire SVG to coach a team with Dre & Monroe as it's best players wasn't an easy or cheap option

haha quite a few good options... selected SVG not just for his coaching but because he's essentially flipped the franchise around in two years... and people think sam hinkie did a good job in philly tanking for three years with nothing likely on the horizon...

Maker! We all owe him a debt of gratitude. I only hope he's okay after such a disappointing night. Still, he shows a champion's resilience, and I expect he'll be back elevating the discussion and making incisive commentary on the playoff series. Thanks Maker!

Stan Van Gundy is the reason we're here plain and simple. I made my signature about him just because I knew he was going to take us there. Where's bkseven? His signature has me betting on the Pistons making the Playoffs. I want that signature bet gone! I win!
