I woke up from a nap to see the Clippers being led by Cole Aldrich to get the lead late in overtime and now Stripling pitching some shutout innings for the Dodgers.

this is it. 2 runs room with 3 outs to make.

I believe this kid will get it done. he just has more stuff and a go to pitch that Zach Lee or Alex Wood doesn't have.

I am not saying he is flat out better than Alex. Wood was unlucky yesterday with some of the hits but there is no mystery that a two pitch pitcher not named Sandy Koufax has little chance lasting the lineup three times in a game. this kid has four.

**** his fastabll is not only getting tired and slowing down but missing its target. his control was always a concern in the minors before his arm trouble.

I don't care if bulldog says its a good miss, Ross is missing it. two outs. one more to go. Dave better not bring him back up in the 7th. let the kid sit down and feel good about himself, and grow some balls for the next start.

lol who were we playing? good to know we won but I had little idea until you posted about the overtime thing with cole that we even had a game... but then again usually when the baseball season starts I tend to forget most things in life, including politics, religion, or even my children's birthdays.... :nonono:
